Prices were pretty reasonable considering these were specialty items that were handcrafted. I am still thinking about my teacher sign. But, I will definitely go back to select one of a kind gifts for those I love.

There are great blue shopping bags in a variety of sizes. The emphasis is mostly dorm rooms and getting a student organized. They still have the wonderful Elfa closet items and kitchen items. I love the office supplies (Dollar Tree also carries the zippered envelopes). There used to be a larger variety of tiny items that could hold earrings, pins or pills. Now the selection is limited. The front display areas still have creative items for storage or fun. If you need clear storage bins for shoes, clothes and other treasures, there are varied sized. The large bag on wheels is great for groceries or other shopping. There is something for everyone.

There are covid protocols for standing in line as you check out and all of the salespeople, as well as the customers are wearing masks. They clean the counter between customers. I loved that safety protocol. I love how the store is arranged, so all of the infant clothing is in one section. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Carter's has clothing for more mature kids too. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable-- my friend and I spent a few hours there and we were made to feel quite welcome in doing so. You may bring your own doll into the store to try on wigs and clothes. The staff have been in the doll business for quite some time, so they know their stuff! In addition to the shop, they host regular trunk shows and contests as well-- just sign up for the event invites with your email. Layaway and online ordering are also offered, which are huge pluses. We drove quite a way to get to Fabric Friends and Dolls, and I'd go back in a heartbeat. My new happy place!

Such a wonderful local business!…read more I left the doll hobby several years ago, but I decided to venture out here with a close friend who still had hers. It was a bit of a drive, but a beautiful one driving through some picturesque scenery and some farmland. The shop itself is located in a small shopping center, with a 7-11 and other small businesses. Our GPS directed us slightly furhter down the road, overshooting the store location, so please watch out for that if you are driving there with GPS. At first it seemed like the shop staff were watching us closely, but I can't blame them. Their store has some expensive wares, and dolls that are literally works of art. But once my friend took her dolls out of the case, the shop owners were extremely helpful and kind, making conversation with us and telling us what was around the shop. They have pretty much anything you can think of for asian ball-jointed dolls: full sets of the dolls themselves, clothing, wigs, shoes, furniture, accessories, tools for maintenance, everything! And they carry all sorts of popular brands that are big in the BJD community, including Dollzone, Luts, Ringdoll and Soul Doll to name a few. They carry many popular, well-known clothing and wig brands as well, including Dollheart and Leeke. One of the owners told me that occasionally, they host meet-ups in the store with scavenger hunts and contests, so doll enthusiasts were encouraged to attend. If you visit the store and give the owners your e-mail address, they will notify you of upcoming events. It was certainly very tempting being in this store. It reminded me of how great the BJD community is, and the creativity and passion that go into these beautiful dolls. I love small businesses too, so I only wish them the best and want to give them my full support!
