I've been a huuuuge supporter, member, lover of Michaels; whatever you want to call it, for years. Michaels was one of my favorite arts and craft chain store then and now. However, I have started supporting more online arts and craft stores over the years; due to a lot of personal reasons. One important reason is the dissatisfaction I've felt at this location for a while now. Their inventory is terribly understocked, possibly before the shortages we've seen this year. The customer service is also 50/50 at this location. I can't seem to find any help whenever is needed; the only customer service is at the checkout process! Their scrapbooking aisles are possibly the only aisle, I look forward to browsing... but where are all their cardstock selections? They used to have a big boom of many varieties of card stocks. I've recently seen a minimal selection of generic patterns; nothing that takes my breath away. I really enjoy a unique selection and haven't noticed any as of late, so online shopping has opened up that possibility for me. There was hardly any fabric; yes. I originally visited Joann's Arts & Craft Store and they were so happen to be closed that day. I have visited this location and they had NONE. It was a nightmare! Michaels was able to fulfill wants for ribbons, Happy Planner Stickers and some holiday décor always being on sale. I just hope my relationship with Michaels, will improve soon enough.

Poor cashier had a 7 person line and no help in sight. A quick purchase took me 20 mins to complete. Get more employees who are present.

Over the last five years I've been collecting and selling cards and accessories from high value…read morecards mostly Magic The Gathering to some sports cards as well. From Thornton and their more popular shops (if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it), to Greely even Sterling. Some of the more well known shops near the Denver metro area and Jefferson County. Covering man of these shops some will take advantage of buy backs by saying they will do a 60% on cards they need, however that never seems to be case as only one shop I know of will keep their percentage the same and have a listing of the Cards their looking for; that's about the one and only thing this shop does ethically. Always up for discovering new shops as my buddy and I have been wanting to open our own much of my merchandise has come from ordering directly at a percentage to the co-owner of our soon to be shop. I discovered The Hobby Source by pure luck. Looked on Google for shops near me and having a place near and around Washington Park The Hobby Source was this small little shop right near Evans and I-25. At that time you couldn't fit more than five people in that shop, but call it Intuition selling to this shop was one of the best moves I could have made for my love of collecting! They moved to their new shop on Broadway and Quincy. Finding this Gem of a shop is one of the best thing I have done with my hobby. From (I don't know if they want their names all over this) the two gentlemen one adept to Sports Cards and Memorabilia and the other who is adept to Pokemon, MTG and both having knowledge in many other not so popular cards games. From the first people you meet going into that store to one of the most down to Earth Owners. Come to think of it I don't think I have ever met one of the owners personally come out and introduce himself. He never did it in a way to brag, but in a sincere and thankful manner that I never experienced before! Everyone associated with The Hobby Source have been AMAZING and if I could leave them 10 star I would. If collecting cards and wanting to start a collection absolutely check out this shop, you will not regret it!

Way over price cards and etb boxes. Cards are overpriced and damaged. Don't go not worth the stop.read more

That gave us plenty of time to locate and stop into a BAM - something which we love to do whenever we are on the road. We have been to several in Utah, Arizona, California, and Nevada before visiting this location. I had already checked out their social media accounts before we even left Arizona for the road. Terrific Instagram profile and activity. I had bookmarked this particular store because they really seemed like a family business. Several employees had December birthdays and the day we arrived they had some decorations up and were offering customers cake. I think they even said they had some ice cream available. Nice touch. Both employees we spoke with were super friendly and helpful. We took most of our time digging through their bulk bins which were full of loose Lego goodness. We looked around at their cases full of minifigs and my wife grabbed a few small animals and misc. Lego pieces. We also looked around the store at their prebuilt sets and boxed sets. Nicely laid out store and full of great Lego items. We took turns quickly using their bathroom to wash our hands from going through the bulk. We had a little discussion about birthdays. I believe the woman's birthday was one of those being celebrated and the man's birthday was July 4th. Fantastic visit. We will most definitely be back the next time we are in Denver. Highly recommend.
