The staff members are always really helpful and friendly. They also leave me alone while I'm shopping which I appreciate. When I'm picking books I like to take my time and not be bugged. My only criticism (and before you read this I want you to know that I'm aware this is such a stupid thing to complain about haha) is that they are always discussing the newest episodes/movies of things I like and I hear so many spoilers! I have never been asked if I need help and when I have asked for help I feel like it's an inconvenience to the them. I often feel like there is a little cliche and new comers are not included. The last time I was in I made a large purchase and I had a friend who does not knit with me. Even she made a comment about the poor customer service and lack of interest in the customer.
