I told him that was inappropriate and unprofessional and asked for a manager he replied saying there wasn't one on duty. I finally had enough and decided to leave right then. I will NOT be back and advise all young women to be aware of creepy Dylan and his disgusting behavior.

Some of the pieces can seem a bit pricey, but size plays a factor. If the piece is bigger, it will require more glaze, which does require more than a single coat due to the nature of the clay and how it soaks it in, and it they also probably cost more to begin with. So, with that, I think the prices are actually very reasonable for what you are getting! Also, there is a good variety in the pieces that you can select as well as a good variety of prices for every budget. My friends and I all give Renee's 5 stars and are constantly recommending it to others as a fun way to spend time with friends while also being able to bring home a memento to remember the day. :)

The rest of our experience was not so great and I would probably never go back. You are limited to only 6 colors, and this was NOT information given to us when we chose colors, so even though for one color I only needed literally the tiniest dot for, I still couldn't get any extra colors, and didn't find that out until after I had already begun painting. Someone with me had two pieces to paint and was still only allowed 6 colors. She was pretty snippy about it too. Also, the entire 2.5+ hours that we were there were spent listening to the owner remind everyone who was sitting and who came in the door that she closes at 4. We probably heard that reminder 20 times. One or two reminders as it gets closer to closing time is probably fair, but the amount we heard it was unprofessional and left a bad taste in our mouth. I'm happy enough with my piece, but some of the paint was streaky even after multiple coats and being fired, and after seeing some other pieces that were painted and fired there it seems to me to be a paint quality issue. I will paint ceramics again, just not here where my creativity is limited.

I was in heaven as I walked through the store. There was so much to look at. They have a well-curated selection of items that I would want to carry if I had my own kitchen supply store. It's cool that they have board game night (Thursdays) and that you can come play a board game yourself anytime during the day. On the same note-- if you have an old board game you can sell it here. You can now sell your used games in our store. To do this simply follow these few steps. You set the price and once it is sold you get 80% of that price as store credit. The coolest thing about The Hobby Corner is that they will order anything for you if you can't find it in the store-- at NO additional cost!
