I went to this area, new to Cedar Rapids wondering why people would call an area ghetto simply because Black people live there. I was immediately skeptical based on the comments, but was met by people of many cultures and walks of life who spoke as they passed. Some smiled. NOTHING is scary about this area so ignore the ignorance preceding my review. If you're afraid of people who don't look like you, stay in your bubble and disengage from society period. Anywho, enough about foolishness from foolish people. I ADORE ALICIA and really appreciate how she went out of her way to help me and answer my questions. There is a wide array of products, many specials and discounts, and the prices are great! I always come in for one thing and leave with 7 or 8 when I go to stores like these! There is parking on the side near McDonald's and in the rear so it's pretty convenient to get to. I will be a frequent customer and am SO GLAD I CAME!

The prices are insane!!!!. There's much cheaper options for protein it's unbelievable that they only sell these high priced products. Some of these products are way cheaper on Amazon and Walmart. I go for the cheaper options for proteins. You can get great results by simply taking a cheap protein and put it in a blender with bananas, milk, nuts , cocoa powder, fruit whatever you want. Just observing the prices encourages me to get back on Amazon. Fitness is a lifestyle. I don't want to empty out my pockets to achieve it

Thank heavens this store has undergone a remodel. Things look much better…read more I stopped here before Noon on a Friday, which was a great time to visit. I mainly came for some coffee creamer and sandwich making supplies, but of course left having purchased more than that (beware of that dang housewares aisle - found some great pet items which added to my overall bill). Seasonal items are also fun to try and stock up on. If you find a seasonal item that you really like, I recommend buying multiples. You may see it once or twice, but not after that. Several of the aisles could have been tidier, but I'd imagine this is best done before/after hours when the store is closed. Too busy otherwise. Our cashier was efficient and friendly. For those shopping after dark, hopefully they get their parking lights fixed soon, as I noticed a sign on the exit door indicating that they're working on a solution. Speaking of the parking lot: there is ample space, just make sure you're keeping your eyes peeled for other customers cutting through the parking lot and generally not paying attention. Lots of them here. Great prices. Good variety. Will be back.
