We actually stopped by here so my wife could look at the vinyl supplies that they had on hand, since all of her shopping had been done previously at a competitors store. They actually had a very large inventory of the supplies she was looking for and had several colors that were probably not as common at the other location. Really the only downtick in score was the price point. They offered 20% off on small volume purchases while she could get 40% off at the place she normally shops. Really it came down to price for these items. We have been in this store previously and explored a little more, they have good quantity of items on the shelves. They also make it easy to see prices (clearly marked). Store is pretty uncluttered for this type of store, and seems to be well organized. All in all, it's not a bad experience and we'd shop here again. My one recommendation would be to know prices before you go in so you can maximize how you spend your $$. Also, they post coupons pretty regularly, make sure there isn't an active one before you make your purchase. read more

I came to Michaels after seeing a commercial. I was really pleased with this shopping experience! I was able to find a few stocking stuffers all reasonably priced at 50% off. Many of the Christmas decor , kids crafts, and toys were already discounted. The gentleman at the checkout register was really nice who assisted me. Don't be in a hurry! This is the closest michaels to my home, so It's my first choice of location when I want craft items. I visited a month or so ago and waited in a line of 6 people, and it barely moved after 10 minutes. I finally put my items back and left. I've noticed they never have more than 1 cashier. It's very frustrating even when the line is 6-10 people long. Today I visited again and it felt like deja vous. 6 people in line, 1 cashier and another employee standing near the cash register hanging out. I finally saw a manager walk by after 10 minutes, and I asked her if they were going to open a register. She seemed like she was going to and responded that she would check on the other employee, but, nope. No one opened an additional register. I put my items down and left quickly. The total for my items was only $40, but I'd imagine this happens more often than I see, so eventually, those loss of sales will add up. Let's hope they can get it together soon. In the meantime, I'm just gonna drive down the road to hobby lobby. read more

We came here for a specific type of envelope, but sadly they didn't have it. But I'm not counting that against them in their rating... We were immediately asked what we were looking for, and told where would find it (if it was available). Great location and convenient to lots of other stores we frequent on a regular basis. I ran in looking for a specific thing in a hurry, so I didn't check out the whole store this time. It was my second time in a Michael's and I did note again that they have a very organized, clean store. It's easy to see all prices and what is on sale as you shop. They have a lot of items in the jewelry making section, but unfortunately I could not cross all my items off my shopping list so I knocked off one star. However, they do have a lot of what they have! That being said - this is a wonderful store to just wander around in, and they do have some super cute stuff! A lot of "pros" and one "con" - I would recommend this store for sure! read more

T love this place. Michaels has every thing a crafter could ever need. They always have a coupon , but most everything is always on sell. The holidays are my most fav time to go here. And if they don't have what you need , you can always order it. And also easy returns. They also have cake classes and classes for children during the summer time.
