The first time I came here was to help my grandmother get supplies to make a christening gown for my daughter. The people in here are so friendly and helpful and produce some amazing looking items. My wife and I were gifted a smocking class by family and gave us a different experience with them than what you normally have with a retail store. And yes, I did take a smocking class... and it was a blast! The teacher really helped us learned the strategies and was great about it when we made mistakes (which is bound to happen). It was a fun experience that we have not utilized the benefits of to its fullest potential. Anything else we have needed, the staff here has given great assistance. Any time we need fabric or have questions, the Smocking Bird is our go-to place to visit.

I half-heartedly agreed but thought it would be interesting to see what a pageant coach and stylist might choose for me. David didn't ask and I didn't suggest a budget, we just wanted to see what looked good. Dress #5 was the one! And I didn't look at prices until after I chose it. Turns out I had tried on gowns far more expensive but he didn't once try to steer me towards something more costly. I'm so pleased with the gown, the store and the wonderful help I received from David. Something tells me you will be too.

There was never an estimate given, and she said that was my fault because I never asked how much it would cost. 6. I ended up paying $80. This place is a rip off, and instead of owning up to anything, the woman blamed me for not asking for an estimate. This was a very expensive learning experience for me, and I will never go back to this place.

They invited us to join them and even offered refreshments! Holly helped my wife pick out colors for a baby blanket for a new granddaughter. Suggested yarns and even rolled all the yarn for us! Customer service was over the top great! Yarn selection was amazing! And the store felt like you were walking into grandma's house, we were welcomed with open arms! We will definitely be back!
