I grabbed an oat milk cappuccino and it was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. But the real star of the menu? The Amethyst Matcha. It's this fun, dreamy-looking lavender matcha latte that tastes as good as it looks--lightly sweet, super creamy, and totally Instagram-worthy. Food-wise, everything I tried was delicious. The avocado toast ($9.99) is next-level (topped with a fried egg and balsamic glaze), and the Big Dipper burger ($13.99) was amazing. They clearly put love and intention into their ingredients. The cafe opens early at 7:00am, which is perfect for early birds like me. I had given up hope that I would ever walk without a limp or live without pain. The first few sessions had me feeling very light and open. The more we did, the deeper I felt a difference. Roger unblocked and released muscle tension I'd had since childhood. It was amazing to regain mobility in places I hadn't even realized were blocked. Based on what I'd heard, I decided to give it a try. From the moment he welcomed me into his home, I felt comfortable and at ease. Roger is kind, intuitive, non-judgmental, authentic, and approachable. He works from a place of committed and focused intention. His extensive knowledge of the subtle body in conjunction with his innate ability as a natural healer makes his work extremely effective. I'm still processing everything that happened. Prior to my session, I had been traveling extensively and not sleeping well. I had been suffering from consistent anxiety, fatigue, and neck and shoulder tension. I told Roger about these symptoms and after a brief consultation and meditation, the session began. My eyes were closed the entire time, but I could always feel where he was energetically, even if he wasn't physically touching me. He began by doing light touch on my temples and face, eventually moving to my jaw, neck, throat, and upper back. It's hard to describe exactly what happened, but the results were unbelievable. I experienced several powerful epiphanies while on his table. I realized that most of the tension I feel is related to unconscious holding patterns in my body. Not only was I informed of this hardening - I was wordlessly shown how these blockages were triggered by memories of past traumas and injuries. There was something about the way he directed the energetic channels through my body that made me aware of places where I was unnecessarily gripping, tensing, or holding. After the work he did on opening my heart, I felt like I could breathe again. The stagnant heaviness that had been sitting in my chest and throat for weeks had dislodged completely. It was easier to speak, to see, to feel. My vision was clearer and everything seemed to have a golden hue. I felt a sense of lightness and calm that I hadn't felt in a long time. It was a feeling of pure divine love and inner strength - a complete lack of fear. Three days have passed and I still feel the positive repercussions of this session. My only regret is that I don't live in Los Angeles, because I can only imagine what it would be like receiving this work regularly. I highly recommend Roger for anyone who has injuries and is interested in self-healing. Roger does more than act as a healer, he is a conduit.
