I asked a few questions as I was not sure she was a fit for what I wanted. In the end we set an appointment that I just now am leaving so very relaxed. Just want to sit in my car and take a nap. I sit at a desk all day and slouch and the job is very stressful so big knots be gone! And they were! Magic hands and highly experienced. I pull into the parking lot. The spa shares the 3333 building with other businesses.... Very easy to find. The space is clean and comfortable. There is a shared restroom that's locked but Heidi will unlock the door for you. The men's room is very clean. I was led into the room and asked to undress to my comfort level and instructed to lie facedown with the towel over my bum. A knock at the the door and it was on like Donkey Kong. Before we started Heidi asked me questions, I answered and her program was on point. It's like really good food. The office is decorated in a modern black and white scheme. The massage room was quiet and comfortable. Teri went over my history with me and explained the process. While a lymphatic drainage massage isn't anything like a regular massage I was able to relax. Overall it was a great experience and I plan to continue with a follow up massage as recommended.

I was just given the surgery and sent home. A week later I had bad left flank pain and fever. I went to the ER and I have a UTI and kidney stones. Did you know 30% of people that get surgery on or around the abdomen have a higher chance of getting kidney stones because higher levels of oxalate being released!? Well I didn't! I needed some relief but not a regular massage. I found the lymphatic care center website and I visited Teri. Not only did I feel some instant relief I also could fill my circulatory system starting to kick into gear. She also gave me a compression foam and I got a belly ban. Which has been making things easier at home. I will be going in for my second treatment and I'm excited to. The results from the first were life changing. She couldn't believe I didn't tip her. I paid $60 for a 60 minute massage. I got a 50 minute massage (at the most) so I don't think $60 is unreasonable. That's $1 a minute and 20% tip. She was so upset that I didn't tip her. I will never go back there!

When I go to hand them a $20 bill they said it wasn't enough for the service I got. They demanded $30 as a minimum. Tipping culture is absolute bs these days. Tips are discretionary based on the service you got not a set minimum amount. Will not be returning. Plenty of other strip mall massage places. Response to Andrew's comment: Sure did a 90 min massage! I walked in. Never looked at your website. Never asked for a deep tissue. Only question I was asked was how long. Would have been nice to be told about the required 30% tip up front before we began. Which still doesn't make sense... Based on the quality of massage I got and because tipping is a discretionary action, $20 which comes out to slightly under 20% was exactly what it deserved. In the service industry Andrew, any tip is a reward, not a punishment buddy... But again a mandatory tip goes against the entire idea. I bet this wouldn't be as big of an issue Andrew if you paid your employees a livable wage and you stopped punishing them by forcing mandatory tips.
