Unfortunately, it wouldn't be prudent to wait several months to have this looked at; and could be deadly. I am disappointed, because we trust and like Dr. Johnson. They told me that is the standard practice across the industry, but this affirms that healthcare providers are only in it for the money now, not customer service or patient care. The office ran a blood test to test for uric acid, based on which I was diagnosed with gout prescribed a couple of medications. I never had a good feeling while visiting the office -- the staff felt brusque at best, so I decided to switch my PCP to a doctor that a friend recommended. Then more than a year ago, I receive letters in the mail claiming that I had a balance from a doctor's visit. The name of the patient was not me, nor my wife, but had my same last name. I had already discontinued going to Family Medicine Plus for over 2 years. I was forced to call the office to find out why they were sending the bill to the wrong party. The office manager claimed that it would be fixed, however, I received additional mail attempting to claim the balance, and I was forced to call once again. Then, this morning, I received another call from a random number in California claiming that I had a balance from a visit in May. So, I had to call again. The office manager claimed that no one was attached to my account and that I had no balance. I wanted to know why I'm still getting these calls and wanted to make sure that no damage was being done to my credit. She insisted that everything had been fixed, and said she would loop in Dr. Hastings, before abruptly hanging up. I waited 5 minutes before writing this review, but the staff and this office acts as if doing their job (for which they are paid) is akin to doing you a favor.

The front desk and the medical assistant told me the appointment was at 10:45, and the doctor had "left the building" for lunch. When scheduling the appointment, the scheduler first offered 10:45, but I knew I could not get to the office that early and requested a later appointment. The scheduler offered 11:00. I am meticulous about my appointment book and immediately wrote down 11:00. I can only assume that the scheduler did not adjust the appointment time. I have worked at and gone to many doctor's offices. I have never been to a doctor who left the building minutes after a patient's missed appointment. Most doctors I worked with typically use lunch to do charting, finish morning clinic, etc. Rarely did they "leave the building". Additionally, the office is challenging to find from the car. The office is tucked into the side entrance in a courtyard, and the sign above their door is not visible from the road/parking lot. I am surprised this isn't a common complaint. Ten minutes of my late arrival was due to the difficulty locating the office. I believe many doctors in this practice are hospitalists, which would explain the lack of professionalism and customer service they expect from their staff. Perhaps they are not accustomed to the integrity and curtsy offered at offices associated with the Baylor or HealthTexas systems. The whole experience is unfortunate because I did like the doctor at my initial visit to their Plano office. I found him very thorough and patient. It is too bad that the Frisco staff was so inflexible and unsympathetic. I am very disappointed with the entire experience and will take my business elsewhere.

They told her to wait and someone would be there shortly. Five minutes later the office called back and told her to come wait inside. So we went inside where we found out they her wait outside for convenience, not for Covid. There were patients in the waiting area. Are we following Covid protocols or aren't we? They forgot she was out there. No one had prepared any tests. No one was coming out. They just forgot about her outside. Their attitude about the whole experience was unapologetic and indifferent. This place isn't for you or your family members.

They only prescribe medication and that's all, they dont call you for follow ups or anything. I'm tired of this place, I have moved on but they still want to collect a debt which my insurance has already covered. They told me they'll see me anyways cause it covered last time, now they want me to pay something I don't owe. How can I pay when I'm disabled and I get a fixed income, how dare they. People don't come here, they won't call you for follow ups, they only prescribe medication and expect you to stay on it with out follow ups. Thankfully, those crazy days are over and usually when you have an appointment, there is little to no waiting. I have moved several counties away now, but still use Dr Davis as my Doctor. I know eventually I will need to find a new doctor but she is family. I have never met a more caring and compassionate Doctor.

Words cannot express how well my ER visit went today. Thank you all so much! I was at this location this afternoon for a work related injury. I cannot remember the name of the ER in-take nurse but she was so helpful, kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She did a fantastic job of getting me checked in and seen right away. Then I met Dr. Erin MacDonald Owens, she was friendly, caring, and listened to my concerns. She acted accordingly and facilitated my needs with Radiographs, oral medications given in hospital and prescriptions sent to my most convenient pharmacy. I then met the sweetest nurse, I apologize that I forgot her name! She helped me with all paperwork and assisted me in finding the correct information on my paperwork that I arrived with from my place of business. She was the best; so nice, very caring and stayed with me until I fully understood everything going on. She did not leave me until I had all questions answered. Thank you, to an amazing female nurse that comforted an anxious patient. Then I met Paul, he came in and performed radiographs of my Left elbow/forearm. He had the greatest personality, he even allowed me to joke about my veterinary career field. He was so gentle, funny, and put my mind at ease so I could continue with Dr. Owens's orders. After some time I met Brooke, whom fitted me with a sling to help comfort my injured arm. She made me laugh and is clearly very experienced in her field of medicine. I want to say thank you to the amazing team of nurses and Dr. You all greatly contributed to easing my mind and understand today's course of action.
