He provides honest feedback without being overly opinionated, which is a huge plus. He was methodical in determining the right price to list the home, in order to get in under specific filters. I contacted Michael Willis for an appraisal on our home, and frankly, working with him was a breath of fresh air. Other appraisers contacted were sketchy on availability, and another wanted up front payment before they would even tell me who the appraiser would actually be or when they would be available. Not happening. Michael was not any of that. I spoke to him directly, his responsiveness was measured in hours, not days, and his questions of me about the property were thorough. His price was a bit higher than others I contacted, but his service by this point made those extra dollars well worth it. And he did not want a prepayment. I paid him when he left our house after the appraisal. Like an idiot, I dated the check 2015 and not 2016, something Michael noted when he got home. Michael was very understanding and a new check fixed the situation. Michael's availability was very flexible, standing in stark contrast to others I contacted.
