She stated the guys said fill out the paper and have a seat. I noticed that the clipboard with my wife's info on it, was sitting on the counter in front of the man behind the glass. It sat there for 10 mins!!! I went up and acted like I was looking at the paper and he snatched it away. Fast-forward an hour and 10 mins. Everyone in front of us went. Then a young female came in smiling and laughing obviously not an emergency and she was called back. She'd only been there 10 mins. I thought maybe she said something different on her clipboard even though she was laughing and looked fine. The clip board only asked how much pain you were in. Then another female came in. She was called back after 10 mins. Again, my wife was curled over in severe pain!! After that, we left and went to Scott And White RR. They were packed. The person at the desk asked about symptoms and a few more questions. They brought my wife back immediately for observation to make sure there wasn't anything severe. Wow! Far better experience and my wife received treatment quickly. She was kept and admitted. Don't go to Seton Round Rock on AW Grimes if you have an emergency! I warned you! They called me multiple times to meet a new provider that they just hired recently at an earlier time, but I mentioned I will be OK waiting to see Dr. Popa who had much more experience. On March 29th when I showed up for the appointment, they told me Dr. Ganan Popa is not there, and I should see the new doctor. Dr. Kristen Hendrix. This was really disappointing!!! For the next visit in November 2022, I visited the center. Nurse told us the doctor will be with you shortly. I waited in the room with my two kids for an hour. At 4:20, I went out of the room and saw the nurse sitting in a room on her computer and the doctor also doing some paperwork on her computer in another room. I asked them why you are letting me sit for an hour while you are not with a patient. The doctor was very aggressive and told me I had to wait. I asked to talk with the manager, and they told me she was not there, and she will call you. I received a call from the manager the next day and instead of being apologetic she said based on your behavior, we cannot serve your son and you should find another doctor. This is the first time I am facing this kind of medical center service with such an unbelievable attitude.

She is thorough and proactive with her healthcare approach. She also stays current on the healthcare industry to ensure you get the best care and most current protocols based on ethnicity where relevant. This sets her FAR apart from other physicians in the area. I would drive a million miles to see Dr. Supkay. Setting up appts, request of refills, insurance is all an ease due to the excellent attentional to detail & communication. They also have an amazing patient portal which makes communication with Dr Supkay & her nurse very easy. You can also make refill requests & get lab results from the portal. I absolutely LOVE that Dr Supkay does NOT keep your lab results hostage. As soon as CPL completes them, Dr Supkay allows us to see them. And she follows up to discuss of course. Despite explicitly explaining my severe immunosuppression, I was ignored and left in a packed general waiting room for two hours. To make it worse, someone was actively vomiting in the waiting room bathroom, and staff refused to let me use an alternative restroom. Because it was 100 degrees outside, I couldn't wait outdoors, and staff refused to accommodate any basic infection-control measures inside. I was forced to leave without the critical ultrasound and labs I needed. Leaving a vulnerable transplant patient completely unprotected like this is dangerous and unacceptable.

I couldn't get in to see my primary physician and this urgent care was my closest alternative. I checked in online and saw Dr Duncan 25 minutes after arriving on time for my appointment. 40 minutes after my appointment time, I was out the door. This is probably one of the quickest urgent care visits I've ever had. To be fair, the clinic didn't seem very busy that day (thankfully for me). There were some additional forms + copay payment to complete in person when I got there, but those didn't take long. They do ask for your credit card details on paper for any additional billing and I will be checking my bank statements for new charges. Front desk staff was kind and friendly. The nurse who took my vitals was thorough and so was the doctor. He was spot on with his diagnosis and I'm on the road to recovery with the medication prescribed. We arrived early, and there were few cars in the lot so I was hopeful they'd be on time. By 12:20 I noticed there were still 2 people ahead of me. I didn't have a good feeling about the place, plus thought I was feeling better so I texted a cancelation because there was nobody at the desk. When someone appeared I went up and repeated that I wanted to cancel. The attendant tried to convince me to schedule at another of their clinics with a shorter wait time. I refused, and received a text confirming cancelation. By the time I left there were many more people waiting to be seen. About an hour later I received an email confirming an appointment I never made, for 5:45 pm. I canceled, of course. Definitely not what I expected. This location is easy to find and had adequate parking and a large waiting area. If the waiting room got full I wouldn't want to be near anyone with a communicable illness, as the chairs are packed rather tightly together.
