I am terrified of going to the dentist!!! But, everyone was so understanding and patient and I am glad that I now have a office where I can can continue to go for years to come! I didn't see Dr. Skidmore I actually seen his associate but she was so great so I don't mind. Everyone is super friendly as well, from the front office staff to hygienist! If your looking for a new dental office I can't recommend this place enough! I have been to this office twice in the last two months. First time was because of terrible tooth pain on an allready completed root canal. The assistant did absolutely nothing but X-ray me and argue with me about the pain medication and antibiotics I needed. She thought I needed neither even though she told me she saw the infection at the bottom of my root. She then referred me too there entodonist (every dentist I've seen My entire 42 years has never told me to see someone else to relieve extremely bad pain). And the bad part was that wait was 3 weeks. This practice did absolutely nothing to relieve the pain I was in. AND then I receive a call confirming the Endodontics office appointment. The first thing I'm told is my visit will cost me $600 with insurance. But if I remove the 3D imaging I can save 100. I told the receptionist I don't need X-rays, I need this tooth and or crown removed so I'm not in pain. She say's.. "oh we don't do that, we would refer you back to DR. Skidmore. I called skidmores office back and they again told me I needed "cleaning". No I need professional help to get rib of the excruciating pain I'm in. So this clearly a ponze scheme between oral professionals. None of them wanted to help me but rather refer me back and forth to drive there own revenue. Please go to a dentist that at the very least can perform all tasks in the same office! read more

Also, finding a dental practice that is not focused on pushing you into getting unnecessary or outrageously expensive services is a sigh of relief. I came in for a second opinion after I grew concerned another dentist was trying to over treat and over charge me and they certainly were. Dr Skidmore is nice, honest, and does great work. I have the biggest fear of the dentist. I'd rather walk on broken glass than even walk into a dentist office. A few weeks ago I had a horrible tooth ache from a filling falling out. Dr Skidmore got me in for an exam that next day. I needed a root canal. I cried literally cried right there in the chair. I hate dental work but being 8 months pregnant made it worse in my mind. But him and his team reassured me all would be fine and they'd take care of me. The girls in the back were so sweet and the girls up front were quick to get my insurance handled to give me a heads up on cost and get me scheduled. Today was my root canal... talk about anxiety. But my 9 am appt started on time. They reassured me, helped me relax, and literally I felt NO PAIN NO DISCOMFORT! They were done in less than an hour. The doctor kept me calm and talked me through everything. I also had the sweetest most kind assistant helping him. She literally didn't leave my side the entire time unless it was to take the x Ray. When I return for my crown it's all done the same day! That's fantastic! I'm about 12 hours out from my work and I literally don't even feel soreness. Even though we are moving out of state this month I'll keep Dr S as my dentist, he's worth the drive! Thank you to the entire team, my fear of the dentist is a thing of the past! read more

The best dentist in the area by far!! From calling the office to make an appointment to completing my cleaning, everyone was so nice and welcoming. My hygienist Brittany was so sweet, I usually really hate going to the dentist because of my sensitive teeth and that was the best cleaning I've ever had. Dr. Skidmore was also so nice and you can tell he really takes the time with his patients to understand all the options to help get you exactly how you want your teeth to look. I have been a patient of Dr. Skidmore for a couple of years now and all my experiences there with him and with all the office staff have always been pleasant and smooth. I have always been fearful of dentists since a couple of bad experiences when I was a kid, but Dr. Skidmore and his staff have always done their best to make me feel at ease. They always ask how I am doing throughout all my procedures and explain what they will be doing in great detail. Dr. Skidmore is ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING DENTIST. He is really nice, intelligent and passionate about his work. He offers the best service ever.... I was recommended by my sister and I have recommended him to other people because he is amazing and does great job. I have had so many cavities and I go there and leave so quick and my teeth are in a great shape. One thing I would like to see change is his staff that are in front desk. I hear something from her regarding treatment and when I go there after treatment, it's something else. She always blames my insurance for it. I have had a hard time finding a Dentist. Either the Dentist wasn't great and made ridiculous recommendations or the hygienist and office staff were rude. I searched Facebook and found a lot of people recommended Dr. Skidmore. The office staff was extremely nice and accommodating! The hygienist was amazing! Dr. Skidmore is awesome! He's nice, honest and doesn't recommend unnecessary dental work! I asked about a crown the last dentist wanted to replace and he said it was fine and there was no reason to do that. Absolutely incredible. I am pregnant and have hyperemesis gravidarum which is basically severe vomiting and nausea. My hygienist Laura was so understanding and patient and let me take short breaks and even adjusted her position for my benefit. The hygienist that worked with my daughter separately was so sweet and I was surprised my daughter didn't cry or have any anxiety like before. I can see why this office is so highly recommended. It was my 1st time at this office & need a tooth pulled. They were able to fit me in sooner with his assistant (sorry, bad with names) due to the headaches the tooth was causing. She was very nice and did a great job in making sure I was not in any pain during the procedure. I appreciate the short time in lobby & not being upsold on things I didn't need (like the last few dentist offices I have been too). I am returning to have new tooth put in a few months. There is not enough good that I can say about Dr. Skidmore or his assistants and office staff. I've never liked going to the dentist. Needles don't bother me, but I really don't like the drill. Even more, I never feel like I can trust dentists. I've had too many bad experiences. That being said, Dr. Skidmore is a rare breed. I've never, ever felt so comfortable. I know that when I'm in that chair, I can trust whatever he says. He is never going to try to upsell any treatment. When I ask his opinion, I know he will let me know the best option possible, and the best option for my personal situation. That means a lot and it's why I know I can always trust what he says. I've had a lot of dental problems and dental pain since childhood (regardless of how many thousands of dollars my parents spent). I unfortunately have "emergency" situations once in a while. Thankfully, I can always count on them to give me an appointment within a reasonable amount of time and give me the very best treatment possible. Dr. Skidmore is patient with me and understands my anxiety. I appreciate his attention to detail. I know that he will do whatever he can to help me keep my smile and maintain my dental health. He really does do great work, too. Everyone in the office is kind. The women at the front desk are always so nice and efficient. They explain everything to me and answer all my questions. They know my name when I walk in and when I call. His hygienist is so sweet and funny. She explains everything and really works to educate the patients. Dr. Skidmore's assistants are so pleasant and comforting. Sarah is always so attentive and caring. She explains everything to me and makes sure I'm comfortable. She has really gone out of her way to help me. She talks with my while I wait (which is never very long). I can't say enough about her. She makes every visit so pleasant. Sarah assists during my appointments at almost every visit. It's comforting to know she will be there with me. I think she knows about how much I can handle and really pays attention to me in order to assess when she needs to offer comfort or suggestions. I really can't express how much I appreciate everyone in the office and how grateful I am that I made that first appointment with them (about 4 years ago?). Dr. Skidmore has a patient for as long as I live in the area and I will recommend his office to anyone looking for a skilled, kind and honest dentist. Dr Skidmore was very efficient , knowledgable and honest. I went to him with my 16 yr old daughter for a second opinion regarding my surprise when moving here and going originally to Prestige Dental they had found 5 cavities with possibly needing root canals on a few . After her exam she had only one tooth that's on watch and nowhere near root canals. I recommend going to a kind honest dentist. Rare to find here in Cali for sure ! read more

I would give 10 stars......to everyone in the office. The BEST experience that I have ever had in a dentist office. The last experience I had was at Menifee Smiles and they basically told me that my teeth were going to fall out if I didn't have a number of pricey procedures.
