Some times it's awesome, but other times it just seems flat and the sauce on the pepperoni flavorless and the 4 cheese pizza seems more like cheese bread than actual pizza. I know that they check the box before they hand it to me, and I always thought that was supposed to be a final quality control check. I had ordered a slice of the 4 cheese, which was again checked, but when I got home it was very very brown with some areas of black around the edges and had been warmed far too long to the point of being burned. If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I have been coming here to shop since I was a…read moreyoung lad since I grew up in napa and it was so close to me I would always go whether it was for a bag of chips as a child or a bottle of tequila as a grown man. I have been shopping here for 15+ years I believe maybe even more or less I'm not sure how long they have been open but this was always my go to. Everyday after work for years I would stop by here on my lunch break or after work to buy their stuff since they had a lot of good choices. The owner Paul knew me and he would always say hi to me and so did the Hispanic lady but she was kinda rude and always staring at me in an uncomfortable way but the main one that hurt was the young man who would always ring me up Everytime I would come through to J mart to buy alcohol and cigarettes after a long heavy shift. This young cashier I don't know his name but he's always there would always be so nice to me and even called me his "bruddddaaaahhhh" (brother ) Everytime I went to purchase something . A few months ago I went in and was looking for a cheap drink so I looked at the little shot bottles the 99 proof ones I believe which are only likee 1 dollar and 80 cents maybe a little more. When I didn't find my debit card in my wallet and realized I could not purchase what I wanted about 4 dollars worth of alcohol I went back in the aisle and put the little shot bottles back. But I was getting starred at In a disrespectful way as of they thought I was going to steal . I would never be stupid enough to steal from that store in my freaking life are you kidding me ?!?! If they catch you stealing they take your picture from the surveillance footage and print it out and post it in the front therefore i would never be stupid enough to steal from there I wouldn't steal im general wtf. So I left that day when I couldn't find my debit card. I go back a few weeks later when I have cash and try to buy a mini shot bottle and a pack of cigarettes, however when I go to pay the young man who works there and calls me his "brudddaaa" (brother) every time I would go in looks at me and says " I can't sell to you because you stole my boss saw you ". I was straight up flabbergasted and felt so disrespected, even after I swore I didn't steal because I'm not about that or would be stupid enough to do that he still was convinced I was a thief, wtf!? And then when I told the cashier who didn't wanna sell to me " can I please see the security footage where it shows me stealing " his response was "why should I show you" I was livid and I mean livid after the thousands of dollars I speant on my vices and groceries at Jefferson market you are going to call me a theif when you have no proof and refuse to sell to me!? That Is so messed up, therefore be careful when shopping there because if you look suspicious or for whatever reason and they aren't feeling you they will be quick to misjudge you and make you feel like a piece of crap, that's why I say F U Jefferson market, Paul maybe if you'll are really worried about people stealing you should buy a sensor and alarm for the door that goes off Everytime an unpaid item or product from your store walks out that door, don't be a cheap owner and embarrass innocent costumers, lol so I guess my new go to liquor store is going to be Lawler's lol that's okay I'm good with that plus they have good food I hear and I have yet to try it screw you Jefferson market sorry not sorry,

I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but the premade sandwich I bought here was honestly…read moreembarrassing, especially for a place in Yountville. What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.
