While waiting we pondered grabbing a pasta salad from the tasty looking assortment on the shelf to accompany our sandwich but in the end opted for a container of local California strawberries, and chips (plain for the hubs and oil and vinegar for yours truly). While at the register the friendly cashier suggested a Mexican marzipan style cookie, which we readily agreed to. Lunch was delicious later as we sat on a park bench by a peaceful pond in the middle of Jack London state park. My husband particularly enjoyed the bread. We'd recommend the market to anyone in need of a delicious sandwich and we'll be back next time we're in Sonoma. They also had a plenteous supply of groceries.

Everyday after work for years I would stop by here on my lunch break or after work to buy their stuff since they had a lot of good choices. The owner Paul knew me and he would always say hi to me and so did the Hispanic lady but she was kinda rude and always staring at me in an uncomfortable way but the main one that hurt was the young man who would always ring me up Everytime I would come through to J mart to buy alcohol and cigarettes after a long heavy shift. This young cashier I don't know his name but he's always there would always be so nice to me and even called me his "bruddddaaaahhhh" (brother ) Everytime I went to purchase something . A few months ago I went in and was looking for a cheap drink so I looked at the little shot bottles the 99 proof ones I believe which are only likee 1 dollar and 80 cents maybe a little more. When I didn't find my debit card in my wallet and realized I could not purchase what I wanted about 4 dollars worth of alcohol I went back in the aisle and put the little shot bottles back.
