Also, although sometimes an appointment needs to be scheduled somewhat in advance, if you have an urgent situation, his receptionist Sue will do what she can to get you in as soon as possible. I had an appointment to get blood drawn. Staff did not screen me for symptoms over the phone, or tell me about any mask requirement to enter the office. When I got there no one screened me for symptoms at the door- they have a sign on the door that basically says "don't come in if you're sick", but anyone can just walk in. I'm in the waiting room for less than one minute and a nurse walks in NOT WEARING A MASK. I ask her why she isn't wearing one and she says "I can't wear that kind of mask". I'm in an enclosed space with this maskless person, who also seems likely to be the one drawing my blood. Not okay. I walked out. Medical offices are supposed to help keep you healthy, not potentially expose you to COVID. I am disturbed that the office would allow her to work there like that, and believe the fake science of "I can't wear a mask". I also think it is completely unethical that the staff knew that she works there without a mask but failed to warn me of this when I made my appointment. Side note- Dr Price is excellent and does telehealth, but I can't recommend going inside the office. Find another doctor's office that is ethical and respects you and your health.

I didn't have to wait very long when I arrived which was great, and the nurse and staff were nice to me when taking vitals and such. But, I would recommend to double check you EOB from your insurance to make sure that they are not over charging you because of what happened in my situation. I had to go back 3 days later for a follow up to have my TB tests read. The front desk told me there is no co pay for that because it is not with the doctor. Got it. (I also called them to confirm this on the day of the follow up visit) Well, I get the EOB from my insurance and apparently the doctor billed me for his office visit ( I expected), the phone call (wth really), and the "office visit" with the nurse that took my vitals and printed me out a letter saying I was negative for TB. Billed my insurance for almost $1000. Quite extreme to me. I am currently working with CHI to dispute the phone and the 2nd office visit.

I drove to Tacoma for literally a 10 minute appointment, in and out, wham bam thank you ma'am! I felt like I was getting robbed! So I started my search for a new doctor. I came across Dr. Stonesifer's office and decided to give it a whirl. He was booked up for months so I saw Marjorie Sladek instead for my first appointment. She sat down with me and I told her my concerns with my other doctor and how I felt like he didn't care about me or my condition. This woman talked with me for 40 MINUTES!!!!! She answered every single question I could come up with! After talking with her she wanted to test me for an array of things. I told her I wanted to be tested for everything under the sun, and that's what I did! I got my results back and learned so many things that my previous doctor never tested for. I am so grateful I found this place!! I now have answers to the way I have been feeling for YEARS! She is the best!!
