Granted, her old office with Dr. Deluca was cramped and scheduling was pretty terrible and I'm not sure why that was. Going to that office always had me disgruntled, but in the end, I couldn't give up on my doctor. I'm glad I didn't. She moved to a new location with her brother (also a doctor) and I have not witnessed any scheduling issues since. My advice Dr. Van? Don't change. You're perfect!

4/1/23 Update Requested prescription refill via portal on…read moreThursday. They sent over the wrong prescription. Sent message via portal asking for correct one to be sent. No response. On Friday I sent a follow up message in the am. No response. I called around 3 and was told by doctors Assistant that the covering physician would send over later that night. It is now Saturday, no prescription as been sent. Guess I'll call again on Monday. 8/14/22 Update They do not answer messages on the portal. They do have a new answering system that forwards call to their doctors assistant to leave a message but still no call backs. I do not understand why communication is so difficult for this company. I would love to change my primary provider; however, initial visit wait times are close to a year for other faculties. Guess I am stuck for now. While my doctor is amazing, the office staff is outrageously rude and abhorrent. When calling for any reason expect to be on hold for 20-50 minutes. When they finally get around to answering your call they will then immediately hang up on you. When you call back, should you be so lucky to get someone on the phone, if you complain about the hold/hang up, they will rudely explain it is their automated system, not the office. They have had this "automated system" for about 4 years now. I have been complaining about it for four years. No wonder they have such low rantings. They must not care about their outdated, useless technology, or are hiring shit staff. Then, they'll tell you to use the online portal to schedule appointments and message your doctor, of which neither functionality is available. The only appointments you can make online are for the urgent care center, which isn't helpful. Then, your primary doctor will be unavailable and you'll have to follow up with one of their physician assistants. I like my doctor, but their patient satisfaction needs some work here. Not a good place if you need long term follow up from a primary care provider.

He was so kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I was in and out quickly, felt all of my concerns were addressed and never felt rushed. So I needed a new doctor and not many places are accepting new people. Luckily I was able to get into here. On a whim i went here. I was accepted as a patient by Laura Runyan, PA-C. She is literally so sweet. Yet professional all at once. She had such a busy tight schedule and still made me feel important. She treated me for what I thought was a sinus infection. Apparently two really good nose sprays work that she prescribed. She also did my physical and prescribed me my medication. Smooth visit and to be honest I really don't mind coming back as long as it's with her :) Everyone there has great individual personalities. From the lady who checks you in with the glasses to the ladies who check you out. Thank you again!

It would have been good if they let the patients know this - the amount of covering up, excuses, and subterfuge that many of us experienced over the last year was horrendous. Why did the staff participate in this? I get that a business in trouble might want to keep it quiet while they try to correct things, but after 14+ months of free fall, maybe let your patients know what is going on so they can avoid crisis medical situations brought on by provider neglect and repeatedly being cold turkeyed off of medications. Was the health and well being of your patients ever important to you, or did you just pretend? Why couldn't they just be honest about what was happening? I called the RI department of health about this and, since they are now closed down, there is nothing more that can be done. Sigh. To the Stillwater staff: At least send us letters saying that you are sorry that you participated in gaslighting us for over a year, and caused a lot of people to suffer because of your neglect. I was a patient at Stillwater Primary care after CHPC shut down. I don't even know where to begin…read moreas it was nothing but issues. At my first appointment with Joseph, a guy named Michael walked into the room to treat me. As a woman, I was very confused. When I discussed my GI issues as well as severe fatigue and muscle weakness, he told me it didn't warrant a referral. The refusal to refer out anywhere seemed like an ongoing trend with this practice. After getting dismissed at this visit, I waited a few months to return until my symptoms became unmanageable and I started rapidly losing significant weight. I then saw Jennifer Bernache before she abruptly left without informing me despite being in and out of the emergency room. She told me there was nothing she could do but again, she wouldn't refer me to anyone who could possibly help. She disregarded my labs and symptoms despite being visibly sick. After she left, I was seen by Robert Amrien. That's when things went from bad to worse. During my first visit, I brought my husband. Robert validated me and addressed my issues. Yet on the following visit when I went alone, his whole demeanor changed from that point forward. He was very short with me and refused every referral I requested. He even turned down the referals I was given by the doctors at the ER and urgent care. He refused to send me to a GI specialist and insisted that none of my symptoms warrant an endocrinologist referral. Robert would regularly proclaim that he works at Mass General as if that made dismissing my concerns okay. During our last visit, I had asked him about the CT scan he was supposed to send me for 3 weeks prior. I had to make a follow up to ask again because the staff insisted that was the only way to reach him. During that appointment, he lied and told me that my insurance repeatedly denied the CT scan and that he's probably going to need to do a peer to peer. Something felt off about his story so I looked into it myself and confirmed my insurance, the imaging company AND the receptionist at Stillwater that he lied to me. He never sent the request. After the visit, on top of lying to my face, he put in my notes that I would benefit from a psychological evaluation! He overlooked my abnormal labs and told me that the neck CT scan he finally sent me for was "normal." It wasn't. They found a calcified nodule in my thyroid. Only after I called him out on it did he admit that it was not "normal." Despite knowing my symptoms, family history and seeing my labs, he refused to help me and told me that there was nothing more he can do. He didn't care about how sick I was and told me to wait until January -it was October. I'm glad that I didn't listen to him! At that point, I unexplainably lost 30% of my body weight in well under a year and was covered in bruises. I felt incredibly ill. He tried to blame my ADHD treatment for my "anxiety." Robert's one suggestion was to go on disability. He said he'd help with the paperwork. The woman who called me from Stillwater about it told me that the paperwork would be "too tedious." I still can't believe he suggested I give up and go on disability! Ever since I switched practices, I found a doctor who is happy to help me rule things out and send referrals. She got more done in a week than multiple providers at Stillwater did for me in 5 months. I thank god because turns out I have been living with a very serious thyroid disease and GI issues that both require close monitoring and treatment. The delay in proper treatment didn't do me any favors. I posted my experience on their Facebook page and they blocked me. So I hope that this review can help others not make the same mistake I did. If you're a woman with chronic health issues, I would avoid this place at all costs. Heck, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I needed help and was met with stigma, neglect, abandonment and gaslighting. I never thought I'd receive such a low standard of care from people I should be able to trust with my health.
