So while my mouth was (and still is slightly??) sore from my visit, I really liked the staff here in addition to Dr. Dow. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly pleasant as was the woman (could have been the same woman) who checked me in. Check-in was a piece of cake and then I endured torture (self-induced) with Megan through no fault of her own. I warned her I'm a baby and difficult and she did her best to not murder my mouth but it is what it is. I think she was relieved to get me out of her chair but she did a very nice job and tried sparing me as best she could. She was patient! Dr. Dow came in about halfway through and was very sweet and told me I now have a dental home here, which was a comforting thing to say. I hadn't really settled on a dentist since I was a kid and always saw the same one. I liked the technology here as well - they have a TV screen mounted up on the wall so you can see your x-rays and other pictures they take as they go through - this makes it easy to point out any issues or signs of plaque, decay, fillings, etc. (At first I was worried about a GIANT white dot only to find out it was a previous filling, not a giant cavity). I think I read a google review about how awful the music was (which made me laugh) and I assure you, the music playing there was fine. Overall, while I need to get better about my dental visits, I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I went to Confi Dental after my dentist stopped taking my insurance. They had me fill out an…read moreextensive intake form which included preferred language. And, even though I had chosen English as my preferred language, the dentist and assistant continually held conversations in another language while treating me. Don't ask if you're not going to honor the patient's wishes. They took their own x-rays even though I told them I recently had x-rays done at the previous dentist and they could request copies from him. Most of the time I was treated in a room separated by partial wall from other patients. It felt like at dental assembly line. It always felt rushed and I never felt as if I was getting quality care, although the work seems to have held up. Many staff seemed annoyed to be there and some outright rude. I ended up buying my own dental insurance so I could return to my former dentist. When I left the practice I called to request any final bills. I was told by whomever answered the phone that I owed nothing and everything had been sent through my insurance and I had paid all remaining costs. More than a year later I received a $70 bill with them saying it was for x-rays not covered by the insurance. I was constantly called, texted and harassed for the money, even though their staff member said I owed nothing.

9/2/20 My semi-annual checkup was initially scheduled in…read moreJune, but was postponed due to the coronavirus madness. It was rescheduled three months later to today, 9/2/20. Extreme protocols are in place at Dr. Greenberg's office, and thankfully so. When you arrive, they ask that you call from your vehicle before coming to the door. The receptionist comes and escorts you in, takes your temperature and O2 reading, reads a warning form, and has you read and sign a Covid questionnaire. The hygienist is masked, shielded and gowned. Aside from all those understandable precautions, my cleaning and checkup went very well, as always. Before you leave, Dr.Greenberg comes in to give you a final oral check, as he always does. He too had all precautions for his and his patient's safety & well being. I'm always impressed with the dental care I receive from him and all his staff.

So what do I like most? Dr Greenberg listens and helps me make the best decisions for my dental needs, he doesn't decide for me. He tells me my options and we make a plan. A plan that is flexible based on any dental changes and my financial concerns. Most of the Dentists that I have dealt with in my life have pretty much tried to decide for me. We're doing this, then we're doing that. There's been no discussion about other choices or why... they seemed to just want me to schedule appointments and show up with my money. Dr Greenberg office is well equipped with the latest equipment (so actually, I am not a dentist and don't know what all the latest dental equipment is... but Dr Greenberg seems to have a lot of high tech equipment, can't imagine there is much he doesn't have). Meanwhile, the patient using the tablet is receiving notifications on the tablet regarding other patient's information. And if the person using the tablet touches on one of the notifications, it will take them to someone else's information. Huge privacy violation and risk.
