I was searching for a new dentist after my previous one sold his office and got a recommendation for Dr. Ngo. So glad that I went. My first impression of the office is that it's new (built up from scratch in 2020), clean, modern, and well-equipped with latest dental technology. The front office is run by his wife, Eveline, who's very kind and helpful in explaining what would be covered by my dental insurance benefits. During the first exam, Dr. Ngo thoroughly explained in details what he would be doing, the diagnosis of a needed root canal, choices and consequences, and answered all my questions/concerns. His assistant is very helpful as well. I took his advice and went to an endodontist that I knew and trust to get the root canal done. Then came back to Dr. Ngo to do the crown. I couldn't help but comparing this top-notch professional experience vs the one I had back in Dec with ANOTHER dentist who had recommended some extra work which I found out not necessary (I have 3 dentists in my family that I cross-referenced on these) and whose office would charge me an extra $75 to email my dental x-rays taken in their office (which should be free since they already billed the insurance for them). Dr. Ngo is a really excellent dentist and we have already recommended his practice to another friend in our area. Both my husband and I come here. This practice came as a high recommendation from my neighbor/close friend who has also worked in health care and whose whole family comes to this practice. As a physician, I especially appreciated Dr. Ngo's bedside manner and way of explaining the care plan. He truly goes the extra mile to do careful and thorough work. He also took the time near the holidays to review my orthodontic plan and ensure it was appropriate. My family and I have been going to Dr. Ngo for 20 years. Him and his staff have amazing service and have always found a solution to our dental problems. From root canals to teeth cleaning, Dr. Ngo does a stellar job and has great referrals too. I used to be scared of the dentist because I have sensitive teeth, but Dr. Ngo is super gentle and gives great dental advice. Because of this, my entire family has not had cavities for many years due to thorough teeth cleanings. On a side note, my grandma started coming here and Dr. Ngo is super accommodating to her speaking Vietnamese and being gentle on her old teeth. I have had places tell me I have cavities that magically disappeared, teeth that needed to be pulled that are perfectly healthy. But then I met Dr. Ngo, I needed some help to get back on the right road. I am so happy I am home hopefully he doesn't retire anytime soon. I've been coming to Dr.NGO for about 4 years now and I'll be coming back every year for maintenance. Going to the dentist can be scary but Dr.NGO makes things easy to understand and makes sure you're okay during any procedure. I had to have more cavities filled than I care to admit . I think one of them almost had to be a root canal. I just went in 3/7/23 for a routine teeth cleaning. Evelyn is the best. I texted her on Monday and she got me an appointment for Tuesday that worked with my schedule. My teeth cleaning went great ... it wasn't fun but when is a teeth cleaning fun? This dentist office is absolutely amazing! Dr NGOs is a very skilled dentist, and they are really good about explaining your options, without any pressure of up selling something you can't afford. They are super friendly, and go above and beyond to assist with immediate emergency dental needs. You can trust them, cause they are very honest I have a sister with cancer, and going through chemo. Came to see Dr. Ngo who was recommended by a good friend. My previous dentist moved away and the replacement dentist didnt bother evaluating me fully and just recommended a deep cleaning and rescheduled me for another day. When I asked if I had any cavities, he didn't know but either way a deep cleaning would have to come first. This didn't sound right so in need a of a new dentist, I was recommended to Dr. Ngo. Since the first call to his office, I was greeted with such warmth and understanding and just not a number by the staff. This office is greedy. No cash discounts for people without insurance. The office manager is so sweet to your face, but watch out for the nice ones. I was way over charged for a extremely simple procedure I could of actually done myself. This procedure took 5 minutes, and I was charged $200. They took and charged me for a completely unnecessary X-ray, knowing I didn't have insurance. I Believe a moral dentist should be willing to help their community to affordable dentistry when possible. read more
