Literally the worst experience of my life. I've had two bags from this store have a warranty issue. The first time, I was given an exchange under warranty. The second time, a woman who identified herself as the manager, Katrina Ford, was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. She barely looked at the bag before accusing me of putting the hole in the bag myself. When I showed her that it was clearly a stitching issue, she advised that the store doesn't cover that. She told me to call corporate. Not two minutes later she said the store covers stitching issues but not the one I had because I caused it myself. Clearly corporate disagrees as they are giving me a gift card to purchase a new bag, which is what the warranty is. I even told Ms. Ford that, on top of the exchange, I was looking to make an additional purchase. She did not care. She was so rude and hateful and disrespectful that, after I spend my gift card, I will never buy from Michael Kors again. I literally went three doors down and bought two Kate Spade purses. I have visited this outlet several times throughout the years when I am in St. Augustine. I have purchased items several items from here and have been happy with the products. The store is smaller than other Michael Kors outlets I have been to. This store is small so there are many associates to help. Unfortunately, I have felt borderline harassed when shopping here most times. When I have visited this location, I am not usually on a mission to find something; it is more to just browse. I do have to say, the majority of times I visited, I was harassed by staff members. I have been pressured into purchasing accessories or more item and gains a discount, event though I was not in the market to purchase anything other than what I was purchasing. There were a couple of times I felt like cursing an leaving-that is how bad it was. Overall, I do enjoy this location. This store is always clean and very tidy. The products here are always well kept. The discounts are usually very reasonable as well. read more

Before you go there..... Michael Kors sells men's and women's ready-to-wear, accessories, watches, jewelry, footwear and fragrance. Yes I frequent purse stores what's the big deal I love to buy meaningful gifts for those I love. This was my first visit to this particular store and I thought the selection was pretty good and the prices, well with discounts up to 70% off it's pretty easy on the wallet. I thought the store was a little over staffed but they all seems somewhat genuine for a commissioned compensation staff (I'm guessing they are otherwise it would be weird). I never like to spend to much time in these specialty shops it's like being on a toll road the longer you stay the more expensive it going to be. I like my experience when I shop here and I never feel pressure to buy...this is huge to me! The store is smaller than other outlet stores and perhaps stock is limited, but it's forever changing too. Normally someone will ask you what you are looking for and try to help you, but if they don't have anything...they let you know nothing really "fits" that at that time and I appreciate that candor. With this said, please keep in mind they not only sell purses, but they have wallets, perfumes, shoes, clothing items, etc....limited, but stock varies. Plus, they have men's and women's items...yep, it's just not for women! There is a little something for everyone! Smaller than other outlet stores for the brand, this location has a more limited selection. They do offer some good deals, however, I think you can find most of the same price points at other stores that offer the brand at a discount. I wouldn't make a special trip out here just for this store. Several staff members were around, however, not one greeted us or offered help. A couple of them stood towards the front and chatted to one another and ignored the customers around them. Store itself was clean, organized and easy to find items. Given the limited space and selection it seemed pretty easy to maintain a location like this one. There were so many items that I wanted to give a new, loving home to but I'm on a budget so I couldn't take them all home. This Michael Kors should be renamed to "Michael Kors Women", simply because of the very small selection of items available for men. My hubs wanted to get a new watch only to find that they only have five watches and one cologne available in store for guys. So, that sort of ruined the trip. Nicole, one of the staff members, was very nice and friendly. She was super helpful but, I received the impression that she worked off of a commission because she kept steering me towards the high priced bags. Overall, the store is laid out nicely and they have a great selection of clothing for women, but, it would've been nice to see more things for men. read more

I really don't like coming to this location only because I'm always annoyed by the girls. Either they're standing all together and chit chatting away and dont acknowledge that you walk through the door or someone will approach you with "I love your shirt" it's the same thing every time. You give a compliment then you think you made an impression and then you chase the next person right away when we say just looking thank you. Not everyone is a tourist. I'm a regular. You could simply greet us with how are you today? Please let me know if there is something I may help you with. Pleasantly smile and wait around. That is less annoying. Most of them time a customer know what they like and will obviously see it or not. Your store isn't very big. Maybe once you see the customer eyeing and touching the same bag approach the customer again so they know you're available and talk to them about the purse. Sometime you girls make it so obvious that you are trying to make a comission, if not then the free MK item for the month. It's very annoying. read more

My least favorite MK store. As soon as I enter the boutique, I feel like I'm being hovered over by their sales associates and make it very obvious that they are just trying to make a commission. I haven't been approached genuinely by any of their sales girls and they almost always greet you and follow you around with very forced compliments. I would like to be able to shop and browse in peace or at LEAST genuine conversation with some SPACE! Any time I've been to this location, the girls are either chatting in a circle or chasing you around. The GM is very arrogant and sarcastic and seems to influence the sales pressure brought on by the associates. Not my favorite at all. read more

I went to the MK outlet in St. Augustine this weekend looking for a wristlet. The sales associate was very helpful and walked around with me looking for the perfect color. I was a little unsure about my purchase, but checked out anyways. I came back to the store 20 minutes later to return the wristlet (I found one for 1/2 the price elsewhere), and was told that they do not refund purchases. Apparently, they will only give exchanges or merchandise credit. There was no sign indicating this policy, the cashier never informed me that all sales were final, and they were not apologetic in the least. Needless to say i will NEVER purchase from a MK store again. If I ever do purchase a MK gift, I will go to a department store where returns are accepted. read more

i've been shopping at the st augustine stores outlet for years, i always went into the michael kors store there at the mall, just looked never bought anything. then one day around last september/october 2016, i went there and voila, i bought a purse, love it, then in december i notice that the piping started coming a loose, i immediately called the store in st augustine, i forgot who i talked too, she asked me, when will i be back in st augustine, i told her i could come in april 2017, because i lived in georgia, an six hour trip. then she told me that she would have to look at the purse first. i then told her that i had only had the purse 3 months. she then told me that i didn't have to bring it to her, that i could take it to another outlet that was closer to me, glad she told me that. the closer one to me was in atlanta ga. i called the locust grove ga one and spoke with a clerk i believe name alika, she told me to bring it to the store and pick out another. i love this girl, not once did she tell me that she had to look at it first. i took the purse back on my birthday to the store which was december 23, 2016. they put the information in and could see that i just had bought the purse 3 months earlier. i picked out another purse and paid the difference in price because i bought a different purse. alika was not there, i wished i could have met her, but i just want to say that the whole crew were awesome. i'm now looking for a black wallet name jet set travel saffiano leather continental wallet, (silver tone hardware)i will be going to any other michael kors store except the one in st augustine florida. the michael kors in st augustine, just lost a customer forever. you don't ever tell a customer that they will have to bring it in so they can look at it, and they only had it for 3 months. customer service thinks in st augustine florida beverly from georgia read more
