Because I travel a bit for work and take my laptop with me everywhere, I've been looking for a sturdy but stylish bag to double as both handbag and laptop carrier. My Timbuk2 laptop bag is still in great shape 7 years later, but consolidating to one bag is just so much more convenient. Enter Michael Kors outlet! Here you'll find a fantastic array of handbags, clutches, wallets, small leather goods, scarves and even clothes. I've never been a huge fan of the Michael Kors clothing line but I do like some of the resort collection dresses. What's better is the clearance handbag section which is nestled in the back of the store near the apparel. There I found a beautiful black leather tote capable of holding my laptop with all of the bells and whistles I was seeking. The original outlet price (already discounted) was listed as $399, but inclusion in the clearance section yielded an additional 40% off! It took all of 2 minutes to realize this was a solid buy and couldn't be passed up - the leather is soft and buttery and the gold-toned hardware makes it look 'rich'. Also not to be missed - the sunglasses! You may find a better deal at the Solstice sunglasses outlet a few steps away but the selection is far superior at the Michael Kors outlet. read more

Michael Kors Outlet - Outlet Stores Near Me - San Marcos, Texas

I was only greeted walking in with my family, after a few minutes no one had acknowledged us. I did find a crossbody bag I was in love with. After trying on the bag a SALES rep finally walked over to compliment the purse. She was definitely being helpful to her benefit at this point. In my opinion customer service is terrible and only willing to acknowledge you when they realize you're willing to buy. read more

Amazing store and service is great. Always have deals going on and the associates are pretty knowledgeable. It gets super busy so it can take a moment to get some help at times but the staff are willing to help with anything you have questions on. read more

Best prices worse customer service experience ever. They are rude and don't know how to check up on people or how to talk. How do you not know about the products you sell? They are willing to go over capacity on the weekend but not on a Monday. Also none of the staff know how to properly wear a mask read more

I've never seen such rude and stuck up people in my life until I went into this store and interacted with their store manager Audura and her assistant manager Lindsey. I will never shop at this store again. Being a restaurant manager I know what good service is and this store does not provide good service. I understand that there are policies in place for a reason, however, two hours after I made a purchase I noticied my purchase was defective and I just wanted to get the same bag minus ripped stitching and I got told "no returns or exchanges, no exceptions". It was two hours later and the item was damaged. Bags are decent priced. Sunglasses you can get cheaper at Solstice. If your looking for watches go a couple of stores down to Watch Station. They have a much larger selection, cheaper prices, they will size your watch (which Michael Kors won't do), and they provide service after the sale and answered all my questions. This store only gets a one star rating because I can't rate it 0 stars. Lame!!!! read more

I thought this guy just made purses, interestingly the best deals was the clothes in clearance in the corner. Watches more expensive than the same MK watches at Fossil outlet, though the MK watch selection here was slightly larger. read more

Let me start by saying I frequent this location and have never had a problem before. However it is the weekend before Mother's Day and I am out of town. My husband offered to go to the store and look for something for me. He walked through the store for 10 minutes with me on FaceTime and no one acknowledged. Not one hello, here are the sales, may I help you, I'm busy and will be with you in a second. Nothing! I was disappointed to say the least. I asked him to leave the store and immediately contacted the manager to express my dissatisfaction that he was not treated in the manner I was accustomed to. Shawnna proceeded to explain they were busy and only had one person on the floor. Quite a contrary to my husband stating several people walked past him. Customer Service is important, regardless of who is shopping. Looks like I won't be receiving MK for Mother's Day. read more

This is one of my top 5 stores at the San Marcos outlets! I always score a great deal on a beautiful bag when I stop by. The staff is eager & helpful. Wide selection of beautiful bags & accessories. read more

What a great experience I've had today at the Michael Kors outlet! We were greeted by Deah who gave us EXCELLENT customer service! She answered all my questions and went in the back to check on things so I could have a brand new bag that hadn't been tried on or touched! Deah was not at all pushy with her sale and even helped me find the perfect sized wallet to go with my new crossbody. She went above and beyond to make my experience great. Thank you Deah!! read more

I was served by Joshua and never felt so discriminated in my life. I gave him my bank card which he swiped and he asked what country I am from, I told him England and he told me I don't accept foreign cards, sorry. I said it's an American card, chase is an American bank. He then glared at me and repeated he doesn't accept foreign cards. I told him to swipe it again and it went through. I didn't even get an apology!!! Ruined my day. read more

Worst experience ever!!! My parents bought a watch for Christmas of 2017, they decided to return in January. Michael Kors were supposed to put the money back on to the card but it's now August and they have yet to receive it!! They've talked to the store, and to corporate, they did exactly what the workers told them to do. All that money lost. read more

I took my girlfriend here yesterday to get a watch sized and the place was a ZOO. Fortunately, the jewelry counter was at the front and there were two associates who were very willing to help us. Angelica and Jerricka (sp?) treated us like friends and made the process as painless as possible. read more

I like this store. The employees have been very helpful every time I've gone. I did a return today with absolutely no issues and received my money back on my card right away. The variety of purses here is good and the prices are great! The only thing I dislike are the other customers, which is why I go very early. Either way, I will continue to shop here. read more

This store is amazing! Exceptional customer service. The young lady went out of her way to help me. Their prices are lower than Neiman's too!!! read more

Worse shopping experience! I come in the store and I was greeted by 2 employees telling me the whole store had 60 % off retail price. Then another girl told me that if I get a coupon online I could get an extra 20% off. It sounded like a great deal. There was a section in the back of the store where the clearance items had a 70% off the last price. Anyway, I liked a bag in the rack where it had the sign 70% extra. I asked the girl that was helping me how much it was. She gave me the price and I thought it was a pretty good deal. She reassured me it was a great deal and asked me if I needed more colors. There was 3 bags in the same rack so I told her I would take them all since the price was so good. She said price vary sometimes because of the color so she checked them all and she told me the price once again confirming they were all the same price. We go to the register to check out and this guy tells her that's impossible and someone must of put all the bags in the wrong rack. The girl that was helping me even tells him the were all in the clearance rack and that she checked the price several times. He refuses to sell them to me! This is called FALSE ADVERTISING and let me tell you is against the law! read more

I was really excited to see what this store offered, but I could not even look around for 30 seconds without 5 employees asking me if i needed help. I understand wanting to give great customer service, but when someone is shopping and doesnt look at you for help, leave them alone! The last straw was when i was looking at the purses and talking to my boyfriend about one, then the girl looks at me and smiles and says,"heeey are you shooppppinng?" I politely said,"yes, just looking", and looked away like I did not need help. Then she starts talking about the bag I was looking at and tries to have a conversation about the bag. I am sure some people like this, but when I am shopping I want to look around in peace. read more

One of the stars is only because I like this brand. The other is because I have to give at least one star. I've been to this particular store a few times thinking every time the service has to improve but no it never does! I feel I get very poor service especially from the ladies who work here, I'm not sure if they just feel entitled or lazy or both but I can't handle it sometimes when I'm there and they treat me as if I'm a scene from Pretty Woman. Although the gentleman seem to have it together when it come to service and therefore the stars. To conclude I understand the store gets busy but I am still a customer and still have money to spend that might help your commission but I would suggest to help me in a way where I don't know that you're getting commission and rush through me to get to the next person or not even acknowledge me at all because I may not look the part or am interested in something cheaper than other. read more

I just left this store entirely disappointed in the customer service. I walked in wearing gym clothes and was never once spoken to. The other nicer dressed shoppers were all greeted and helped. I looked at 3 different purses and wanted to look at a watch but seeing how I was completely ignored, I decided I did not want to purchase a single thing in that store. The employees were even talking about how their goal was to sell $1400 in the first hour. They just missed out on a good chunk of that goal by losing my business due to their lack of customer service skills. read more

Terrible Customer Service. My wife took her Michael Kors watch to get sized, and the girl broke the pins in the watch. Without telling my wife, they gave her the watch and when she put it on, the springs/pins popped off and the watch fell off her wrist and onto the floor. I took the watch back to the MK store in San Marcos and spoke with the Manager. The MK team could not fix the watch and the Manger was very rude. All she could say was to take it to another store to be repaired. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT PURCHASE A WATCH FROM THIS STORE. read more

Worst return policy that I have ever experienced. The outlet store return policy is much different than the department store return policy - that is for sure, so beware. Read it before you buy. Most things are considered final sale, meaning no return allowed. Other things, you get only store credit. They will not return money to your credit card, regardless if it is full price paid. And then, I had to argue the case to even get store credit, otherwise, they wanted to say it was final sale. They don't honor even exchanges either. I tried to return a handbag for the same of another color, but it was at a higher price, so they wanted to charge a higher price - I never have seen that in another store in all my life. This is the worst return policy I have ever seen, so customers beware. No signs in the store, but you will see the return policy on the back of the receipt, after you buy. Too late then! Ask them to provide written policy before you buy and then judge for yourself. I am steamed and will not return to this store again. read more
