Dead middle of winter I drove the short distance to the local Clark's store. There staff is solid, the selection is good and you can usually get a buy one pair the second is $20. I walked out with two pairs of leather Clark's boots for $80 which is amazing. They have a rotating selection and can order from other outlets if necessary. The girl that helped me knew exactly where to find my size and type and all I asked for was pants that fit. This store did carry some accessories that were not available at the big box electronics stores (for example, the BOSE carrying case for a BOSE ipod dock). The associates are very knowledgable about BOSE. They do work on commission though, so on a 'fact-finding' visit, the person helping me made me feel slightly guilty for not purchasing on that day. I think the big benefit to this store are the refurbished items. They are cheaper than the new items, but still carry a BOSE warranty. And, I discovered that they will put your name on a list to be contacted when a certain item comes in stock. You can reserve the item over the phone to pick up later. Also, FYI, the coupon book discount at BOSE is 10% off a refurbished item - what a deal!
