The selection is decent and with the exchange, it makes it worthwhile for American shoppers. At one time, they had a huge selection of retired gold charms, earrings and rings and I am happy I was able to take advantage of the sales. The staff is polite and helpful but the managers are a different story. As someone who purchased in large quantities (both for my collection and to resell), I was treated very unfairly. I was unable to partake in promos (spend $125, get a free bracelet) or to put things on hold. I always felt uncomfortable buying in large quantities here and was made to feel bad about it. People spending $150 are far better off than those spending $15,000. Made no sense to me.

She was highly efficient with the issue I had with a slightly dented ring. She was able to remould it and I was delighted it was so simple! We chatted for a while and she was very forthcoming about the way the metals and gem market is working currently. She also had a good idea that I'm seriously considering, instead of what I thought I would do! The only thing I'd say is that I never knew the name of the company. I'd passed by many times, but it was extremely difficult to see the company's name panel. Maybe it could be made so it's possible to see more easily from outside. They have a great corner location, so it's not the name that's easily seen... it's the lovely displays!

After having is sized at another local jeweler, the white gold ring became yellow gold. A month later, one of the diamonds fell out. After checking out a few reputable jewelers, I decided Lessard Coutu would be the ones to replace the diamond and repair the ring. Marianne took her time going through all the options and explained why the ring had been faulty and what needed to be done in order for the ring to be worn with confidence. She, Moe and all their staff were a delight to work with. They are patient, knowledgeable and skilled artisans. I've already taken some other pieces to them for repair and will most definitely go to them for all my future jewellery purchases. They have such a great eye for design, that I'm seriously considering taking some older pieces to them to be remade into something more contemporary that my grandkids would love to wear.
