Unfortunately, I developed problems with my left eye afterward. I was initially told it would improve within a few months, but instead, my vision continued to get worse. My retina specialist eventually referred me back to Dr. Pirnazar for a secondary procedure. When my vision worsened, I called requesting an urgent appointment and was told the first available appointment was almost two months away. After several calls, I was finally given an appointment for August 28 with Dr. Fadavi, whom I had seen before. I received multiple text messages confirming my appointment with Dr. Fadavi. When I arrived, however, I was told that another doctor would see me because Dr. Fadavi does not work there on Fridays! No one had contacted me to tell me about this change, despite the multiple confirmation texts specifically naming Dr. Fadavi. When I questioned the front desk about this, the staff member was extremely rude and dismissive and showed no concern about the situation. Considering that I was there because of a worsening problem with my eyesight, I found this treatment completely unacceptable. I left without being seen and will be finding another ophthalmologist to address my eye problem. After this experience, I will not return to this office. The lack of communication, difficulty obtaining timely care, and especially the unprofessional attitude of the office staff were extremely disappointing.

I have had worsening high eye pressure and glaucoma runs in my family. He is kind and compassionate and offered different options. The best option (and safest option) for me was the laser SLT (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty) I am a little squeamish by nature but, as promised, it was super quick. ( a matter of seconds), didn't feel a thing; no downtime and drove home right after. It was literally a few flashes of light and then it was over as soon as it started. I had both eyes done on different days and they were quick visits. His staff is excellent and the practice is top-notch. He's such a kind and knowledgeable Dr. and stays current on all the best treatments for patients. If you're on the fence regarding the treatment, I recommend it. I wasn't willing to risk my eyes by NOT doing it. There was no added cost for me. Just my usual $40 copay for the visit. I went today for my check-up, and my pressures are lower than they have ever been.

My sister-in-law recommended Laguna Eye Care and I now pay out of pocket just to get the care and service I want. Laguna Eye Care has state of the art diagnostic equipment. The optometrists are all extremely well trained and very friendly. The opticians and office staff are friendly and patient. I could go back to my covered provider but I wouldn't have the clear vision, peace of mind, customer service and quality of care. I have been wearing glasses since I was in 4th grade. Contacts since I was 16. I'm 61 now. I've had many years of experience dealing with optometrists. I've yet to find a better office than Laguna Eye Care. They check all the boxes for me!

Then we see Dr Collin's and she said she'd send in the brail when I go for my eye prescription. Then she's no a Dr and sends in drops that my insurance will not approve. I'm struggling to see. I don't want to wait. The wonderful Dr Logan said on June 21, 2024 a Friday when I saw him get the form from the brail institute and he will have his people give it to him. Nothing at all. Those were his words. I'm depressed and I can't keep living in this world not being able to see. One more thing the male Asian nurse sat in front of me saying how I should fight or whatever and there are miracles. I'm a born again Christian and I do believe. However him saying that was he thinking I'm lying what I see or I'm faking. Why would I? That's how I felt. I don't like guessing unless I'm sure. Ever since I was a young kid. The entire team is welcoming, knowledgeable and very good at what they do. I had a consultation to determine whether I would be a good candidate. Following the positive outcome, I was able to set up a date for my surgery and go in for the pre-op within about two weeks. The technicians and optometrists I met were great. Each person took time to explain what the tests were for, what my results meant and how the surgery would correct my vision. I met Dr Raoof on the day of my surgery. She explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions. She made me feel really at ease and in good hands. This procedure was a miracle for me. I've had really bad eyesight and worn glasses since second grade. The second I got up from the operation I could see almost perfectly. Despite discomfort on the day of the surgery, I've had very few side effects. My sight keeps getting better and clearer everyday. So thank you again Dr Raoof and your team at NVision. "Dear Dr. Raoof, I have made five attempts to contact Denisse Brito and left messages each time. She returned one call, but unfortunately, I was unavailable, and no further follow-up was made. Given the lack of communication, my wife and I have decided to seek cataract/lens replacement surgery elsewhere. I had surgery at uCI cancer center with a plastic surgeon for a breathing problem unrelated to Tayani, where when they disinfected my face with a chemical' disinfectant and burned my corneas! Originally my eyes were taped shut by my Anesthesiologist for intubation. When the surgeon removed the tape off my eyes to prep me for surgery the chemicals seeped into my eyes and burned both corneas sat there my whole surgery for hours. Most painful, worst experience of my life. I've been going here to Tayani's for many many years. Had surgery by Dr Tayani himself too and had Dr Rebecca Ng as my eye Dr for many years here also she was just off this day when I rushed in screaming for help! When I had this horrible experience and was treated horribly without even rinsing my eyes while I screamed at the top of my lungs at Mission Providence Hospital and even my paramedic that delivered me to the ambulance begged them to rinse my eyes it went no where at all. Avoid that place like the plague! Tayani staff , initially Dr. Lanier and the other Drs on staff that day took me in as a walk in the same day of surgery. Then all four Dr's went into the treatment room I was in and each took turns evaluating the damage to my eyes and each made an assessment of the chemical burns. They all agreed to put stem cell plasma on one eye that was worse and a contact lense on the other to help them heal. I was still in severe pain they send me to UCI hospital in Orange where they have optometrist but as usual no one even looked at my eyes there after hours screaming I got morphine and sent home. They were more concerned about my mental health and missed the mark. Never even looked at my eyes or saw the eye Dr! I went back to the lovely Drs here at Tayani and they send me to UCi research center where they had an eye surgeon that put a very thick plasma stem cell ring over the ripped cornea and helped me heal entirely. If I would have not gone here ti Tayani's, the 2 ERs from two hospitals would have left me blind and screaming in pain for weeks I'm sure. I owe Tayani institute Drs for saving me from going blind and unimaginable pain. Where no hospital ER could help these guys all figured out what was wrong and got me to the right place even walked me and my parents with Alzheimer's to the car as I was completely blind literally. Scariest moment of my entire 49'years alive. This is the place to go! They are passionate, caring, kind, professionals with amazing bedside manner and I couldn't have picked a better place to go. These guys are serious and know what they are doing!! You are lucky if you can get anyone of these Drs especially Dr Lanier take you in as a patient. I will never forget. I booked an eye exam specifically for contact lenses. When I arrived, they told me my appointment had been scheduled the previous week -- despite never receiving any reminder, call, or notification. Mistakes happen, so I rescheduled for the next day. When I came back, I was told (same-day) that the appointment was not for contacts, even though that's exactly what I requested when booking. They proceeded to do a regular exam and dilated my eyes without confirming the appointment purpose or telling me it wouldn't include contacts. Then they scheduled yet another appointment -- supposedly to actually handle the contact lens portion. Fast forward to today: I drove to their Laguna Hills office, checked in, waited ~20 minutes, and then was told the doctor "doesn't have time to see me today." No call, no heads-up, nothing. I took time off work for each of these visits, yet after three appointments, I still do not have my contacts. To make it worse, when I called after leaving, the best they could offer was to reschedule me with the same doctor who canceled on me today -- again, no acknowledgment of all the time wasted or effort to accommodate. This office has major scheduling, communication, and customer care issues. After multiple missed notifications, incorrect appointments, and last-minute cancellations, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
