However I'm afraid that I'm going to be, again, in the market for a new one. I was waiting in the waiting area for my cleaning when I overheard the "girls" at the front desk talking about an incident that occurred two nights prior where a young female police officer and her partner were shot. (The young female officer lost her life and the young male officer is in critical condition.) one of the females who I will identify as "the hygienist" says, I can't wait to see what really happened, I bet they were really aggressive and that's why they got shot. You know male police officers are so aggressive" not females, but males. I bet they deserved it because it doesn't just happen." Now I don't know about you but if I'm a police officer and my coworker was just shot to death. I don't want to hear your ignorant opinion about a job you know nothing about. There's enough negativity and ignorance about policing, I certainly don't need to hear it at my dentist's office. The problem nowadays is that people don't know enough about being professional in a work environment and they certainly don't know when to keep their mouths shut. I would love for this woman to lose her job over the fact that she just lost a client but that probably won't happen. It really is a shame because I really do like Dr Alkass but I'm not going to give my business to a place I consider a hostile environment. UPDATE: Dr Alkass called shortly after this happened and was absolutely horrified about the situation. It turns out that the woman who was going to be cleaning my teeth was a temp who was taking the place of the excellent regular hygienist that they have named Milena. He assured me that the woman I encountered would not be back working at his business. We talked about the fact that in a professional environment there's just no place for that. Thank You Dr Alkass. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to give me a call as the last thing I wanted to do was leave your practice because you're so good at what you do.

My mom is a former dental hygienist so all of my former dentists were some of her colleagues. While…read morethey were excellent dentists, some of them could have used a few lessons in patient services which I think indirectly made me nervous about dentists. Dr. Dalia is the first "outside the industry bubble" for me, but I was super impressed by this place! The actual place is super comfortable and relaxing. Nice music and what they have on the TV is a little odd, but I was able to change the channel. They put on those home flipper shows which makes me think that this place is mostly Sauganash Moms lol. They have Hulu and Netflix so...cool! As you probably can already tell, I am used to a real "old school" dentist so I was very impressed by all the doodads and technology they had which greatly improved my comfort and made a much better memory of a dentist office. I was in for a DEEP cleaning which was done with a load of novacane. While she really numbed me down alot, her assessment for how long it was going to last was accurate. She was also a bit faster than I expected, but her work got my "mom's seal of approval lol" (she wanted to see). I will admit that it has been awhile since I have been in for a cleaning so I have some work cut out for me. Still, Dr. Dalia explained it to me like I was an adult and didn't try to dumb it down. She was able to use technology like my mouth was a football field and she was drawing up plays. I kind of liked that. One overlooked part was the cost and insurance. While it was still "expensive", the prices did match up with what my insurance estimated it would be. I know one of the biggest problems with dentists are insurance. This office seems to have it down and provides quite a bit of transparency of how much it costs. Since my parents paid for my dental work growing up, I have never seen a bill for something quali major. At "worst" the prices here are fair which for a medical/dental practice, is still pretty positive. We will see how my next appointments go, but Dr. Dalia was awesome and I am glad I finally stopped by to get my teeth worked on.

The cleaning I received was thorough and my teeth never looked so clean. She mentioned one of my teeth had a split going across it where a filling was and recommended I get a cap before it brakes and causes more trouble and pain. The procedure was quick and easy and I'm so glad I did. The color matches and I'm so happy with the results. She also bonded my front tooth which cracked which I've been living with for a while. It's made such a difference in my smile. Highly recommend Dr. Delia you won't be disappointed

However, I'm happy to say that coming here has made my appointments less stressful and enjoyable! The waiting room is cozy, well-cleaned, and the environment is calm. James was the first person I interacted with--he was helpful and welcoming. We had a brief discussion of anime, tattoos, and other random topics . I believe he decorated the waiting area this month, which made it even cozier and a perfect fit for the spooky season ! I met with Iskho, who is incredible! Iskho is sweet, informative, and funny. During my appointment, he was gentle with my teeth and would describe to me what he saw and would discuss methods on how to improve. We exchanged anime suggestions and tattoos, which made my appointment fun. Dr. Raina is amazing. She was very welcoming and kind during our first interaction, and took notes on my past dental history. She understood my uneasiness and treated me with patience and care. Similar to Iskho, she would describe to me what issues I had and how we could resolve them. I would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Raina, Iskho, and James. You've made going to the dentist a stress-free and even enjoyable experience! I look forward to my dentist appointments instead of dreading them months in advance, so thank you, Dr. Raina, Iskho, and James. You all are the best .

At that age, losing your smile like that feels devastating-it's not just about looks, it shakes your confidence and makes you feel lost and unlike your true self. I honestly thought I'd never get my personality back again. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Wittmus. Needless to say, I was terrified about what came next. From the very first appointment, the whole team at Grateful Dental treated me with so much care, patience, and kindness. The team was immediately so understanding of how traumatic my situation was, not just physically but emotionally. They walked me through every step of getting temporary partials and made sure I felt heard and cared for the entire time. I never once felt like "just another patient"- which meant everything to me when I was so shaken up. The temporary partials they gave me look so natural that people don't even realize what happened. I can smile again, I can talk without covering my mouth, and I can finally feel like myself while I wait for permanent implants. That may sound small, but when you're young and going through something like this, it means the world. My temporary partials look and feel absolutely incredible-way better than I expected-putting a smile back on my face. Dr. Wittmus and his team gave me the confidence back that I desperately needed while I heal. The whole staff is professional, compassionate, and truly goes above and beyond for their patients. This team has given me back my confidence which I am forever grateful for. If you're looking for a dentist who has both incredible skill and a genuine heart, this is the place you want to be.
