From parking personnel to administrative to nurses, everyone made my stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend Drs. Zager and Marcotte! I was in major back pain for over 3 years and these surgeons were able to remove my pain. I was a difficult challenge and these Doctors performed a miracle. Can't say enough good things.

I have repeatedly explained my financial hardship and disability status, but communication with the billing department has felt rigid and exhausting rather than solution-oriented. Patients dealing with serious medical conditions should not have to spend this much energy fighting administrative and billing systems while also trying to manage their health. My issue is not with my doctors, but with the billing and financial process. I hope Penn improves how it handles vulnerable patients navigating insurance coordination and financial assistance.

LIFE SAVER! I believe Jaie Bosse may have saved my life. I was on HCTZ for over 10 years for high…read morebp, and in 2017, I was taken off the HCTZ and was prescribed a couple more meds by a cardiologist. More than once it went as high as 200/100, and Dec 2017, my chiro caught it at 200/115, straight to urgent care I went. That Dr did some tests, asked me a lot of questions and saw no signs of a potential stroke, at the end of that session, my bp came down to 150/90-100 (I forget exactly). So he didn't change any meds but told me to see my cardiologist. I did that, and she told me to just keep doing what I'm doing and changed nothing. Those meds she gave me made me feel sick, light-headed, blurred vision, confused, very sleepy and brought my heart rate down to the low 50's. She didn't see anything wrong with all of that I guess, but I DID!! It was suggested by my sister and a friend to look into seeing a Naturopath. So, I asked my chiro, Dr. Lenny Roberts of Summit Spine and Wellness, if he knew of any and he recommended Jaie Bosse. Well, since seeing Jaie in Jan/Feb 2018, and taking her recommended suppliments, my bp has been GREAT!! I stopped taking those horrible meds and just take the suppliments now. I just had my bp checked by a professional and it was 122/84!!! It hasn't been that low in eons!! I feel so much better now and am so grateful to Jaie! I never thought I could get off of those dreadful meds and live to tell about it. THANK YOU Jaie Bosse!!

This is how medicine SHOULD be…read more I'm so over western medicine treating symptoms. And by "treating," of course I mean masking them with drugs loaded with side effects & tested on animals. (Said the DO's daughter & the MD's sister...sorry not sorry, Dad & Bro!) Naturopathy in general, and Dr. Jaie Bosse in particular, addresses the whole person and works to find the underlying causes of the symptoms. Then, the symptoms are treated with nutrition & dietary modifications, vitamins, and herbs (meditation and exercise can help here too!). Do you see the difference here? (Eastern medicine does this as well, for the record.) After talking with Dr. Jaie for an hour, we narrowed down my symptoms to a few diagnosis options. She sent me for bloodwork, she's been very communicative via email, continuing to research my condition, and in deciding on my treatment, she also reached out to my acupuncturist so that ALL of my healthcare professionals would be on the same page. So now, I have a diagnosis and a treatment regimen. Which makes me feel better already. As do the supplements I'm beginning to take and the dietary changes I'm beginning to make. AND... Today, I found out that my health insurance through my work accepts Dr. Jaie's exam as my annual physical! YAY!

Doctors are, you know....people. You don't want to evaluate them with the callousness with which you might describte, say, a crepe stand. On the flip side, choosing a primary care physician is hard. You have to pick a random name off of a list and suddenly that person is you go-to for every question and ailment. Unlike the crepes, other people's opinions could be really helpful for longer than a few hours... Fortunately for me, Dr. Graziani is a great doctor, so I don't have to stress about the relative ethics of bashing her on a public website. She is kind, thorough, smart, and gets an extra star for being the first doctor in awhile to take an invested interest in my nemesis, migraines. I'd recommend her. I am recommending her. That's the whole point of the whole thing. (note: if you are considering making Jefferson Med your primary care location you should know that they are affiliated with the med school and you might have students watching and helping during your exams. if this weirds you out, skip the practice)
