    Waiting in the parking lot
    Irene G.

1st let me say there don't take appointments. Don't try to call because it's a recording and no one answers. If you want to be seen just be prepared to wait for hours. We got there on Wednesday around 11:45 and waiting to check in. The people in the front are so busy checking in, talking to the Vet and calling people to the rooms. I noticed that people came in the morning and checked in and left and came back and still weren't called yet. We actually stayed in the parking lot. We found a shady spot and took a blanket and water for our dog. We finally got called to be seen around 3:30. The Vet came in the room seen our dog which were told that she probably has a swollen or bruised tendon on her paw. Was recommended that we give her some medicine or we can do X-rays. He suggested that it doesn't look broken because she was using it to walk around and just when doing certain things she would lift it up. I liked that they gave us an option. The Vet said allow 10days of rest and the medication and if it doesn't heal we can go back to get the X-rays. Again I love how they gave us the option to decide instead of telling us that she needed X-rays right then and there to get any kind of money. I do feel that the people in the front should be more friendlier or smile a little more maybe they were just so overwhelmed with so much going on. I didn't have to pay an overpriced office visit and medication. I got 3 medications and the office visit came out to $109. So it's like this you want something not overpriced and honest then you have to just suck up the wait time. I would go back again. But I think next time I would wake up really early to check in and wait. Instead of going the time I went last time.

Great service, staff is very friendly and attentive to the animals and customers. Every time I went for a check up and ear posting staff made sure everything was streamlined and able to get in and out as fast as possible. Happy with my puppies results. I continued posting his ears weekly for 3 months after posting. His ears were able to stay up Thank you to Staff for all your help

One of the best vets out there! Staff is very friendly and caring about our Prada. Prada was struggling to pass her stool and was very patient with her. They got her feeling so much better and they're very good with their prices. They are a first come first serve so it's best to be there before 8am especially on Saturdays. Will be coming back to get her and our other furbabies spayed. Thank you Dr. and thank you staff!

I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and the staff is super nice especially dealing with the amount of people that come through. Yes they are still in the same old building but it's still functional. Yes you are going to wait long depending on what you're coming in for but to me it's worth the wait. If it's summer time bring an ice chest with water and snacks for you and your animal but recommend to try to come in spring or fall/winter when weather is good. Bring your patience they go in order from the time you check in. Our recent visit was for updated vaccines for my 12 year old Olde English Bulldog Daken they treated him so great and although he was nervous he did good.

Are they in the new building yet? Or still in the original?

No. That new building is now over 10 years old and just sits there. I doubt that they ever open it. Such a shame.

Are you still in business? I've tried calling everyday for 3 days and no one answers the phone during business hours 8am-4pm

For a doberman, how much would be to crop their ears?

In 2020 it was $425. I don't know if it's gone up since then

My pup goes in for ear cropping , all they told me was the line starts at 7 am, but they don't open until 8am. But from other reviews we stay in our car, or do we form a line at the door. They never told me what time her ear cropping is either?

What's the latest to come in for a surgical insemination 5/29/21 today?

Do they accept major credit cards?

    Yes!

    Do they work with rabbits?

    No, only cats and dogs

How much to crop the ears of a Doberman Pinscher puppy?

$425 but the price gets higher a little bit depending on the weight

How much does it cost for war cropping?

Hi there so I've been trying to call and ask if I need to set up an appointment to get my puppy's ear clipped but haven't been able to reach anyone... does anyone have another phone number I can call or is it walk in and make appointments in office?

They were closed this week. They be open on Monday 2/10/2020. I figure they be really busy on 2/10/2020 so might try calling on 2/11/2020.

Do they have any type of payment plans, if you can not pay the full amount?

No they don't to my understanding.

Has anyone had Apoquel prescribed here?

    Yes

Is the new office open yet?

    Not as of last month

Has anyone recently had their dog seen for cherry eye? If so , what was the pricing for the surgery?

No, but you can call and get and get pricing.

    Do they offer dental services?

Yes They offer dental No food or water 8 hours before you arrive Great doctors try get there before 9am

If I bring in my two EBDs on a Monday morning, is it likely that they could schedule surgery for both of them that day? (one soft palate and one tail surgery)? No one answers…

You need to call them about the specific surgery you need. It probably depends on how busy they are and after examining the dogs if the Doctor feels the surgery are necessary.

    Do they do Payment plans?

I don't know but give them a call and ask..

What's the prices like just for a check up?

So, this vet does take credit card for surgeries?

Yes, I always pay with my Visa

Are there specific hours for vaccinations?

No specific hours for vaccinations. Just show up.

Headline: Life-Threatening Negligence and Fraudulent Charting - Do Not Trust This Clinic…read moreI am writing this as a medical professional who had to perform my own clinical audit to save my dog from this office's incompetence. My dog, Twinkie, was failed by Dr. Mean and her staff on multiple levels: 1. Fraudulent Documentation & Lack of Physical Exam: The records claim Dr. Mean performed a heart exam on Twinkie. This is a blatant lie; she never even touched my dog. Furthermore, a covering vet performed a suture removal but failed to document any of the clinical concerns we raised. Vitals that were taken by a tech on an intake form were never entered into the formal medical record. 2. Misdiagnosis & Dangerous Over-Medication: Despite Twinkie showing clear signs of anaphylaxis right in front of the staff, they "shrugged it off" and insisted she was having syncope (fainting) due to heart failure. Without proper diagnostics, they jumped straight to a heavy cocktail of Enalapril and Vetmedin and Furosemide. 3. Intentional Withholding of Records: I believe this office intentionally stalled sending my records to the cardiologist. Once they realized a specialist would be reviewing their "work," they likely realized they had jumped the gun. Because they failed to provide the records, I had to act as my own investigator. 4. The Proof is in the Recovery: After connecting the dots myself, I realized the Enalapril was dropping her blood pressure below baseline and the Furosemide was dangerously dehydrating her. I made the clinical decision to stop the medications. Within 24 hours of being off their "treatment," Twinkie was back to her old self--active and barking. A subsequent exam by a different, competent veterinarian confirmed she is healthy, her heart is fine, and she never needed the medication. Final Word: If I hadn't used my own medical background to challenge their narrative, their "treatment" for a non-existent heart condition would have killed my dog. Their clinical notes are vague, their charting is dishonest, and their diagnostic skills are non-existent. Go elsewhere.

She took her back, and they prescribed steroids, but they didn't help. She returned, expressing her frustration, and by this point, she was desperate to find a solution for her puppy's condition. Instead of collaborating with her and potentially suggesting some ideas, the doctor seemed uninterested in understanding the issue. When my daughter asked him what they could try, all he could say was, "Well, you can." He offered no suggestions whatsoever. My daughter even suggested a biopsy, which he had recommended during the previous appointment, and suddenly, it was "well, we can." Naturally concerned about her dog's well-being, my daughter returned, and they prescribed her Metoclopramide. However, this made her worse. She became lethargic, refused to eat, and slept excessively, acting completely different from her usual self. Instead of trying to diagnose the problem, they seemed more interested in masking the symptoms. As a result, we still don't know what's wrong with her. I believe that when they see my daughter, they perceive her as a young child, which is why they treated her differently. I would strongly advise against visiting this vet. These veterinarians don't care about the animals or their owners; they're just there to make money. They don't want to put in the effort to figure out what's wrong with the animals; they simply want everything to be easy. I feel that since they couldn't figure it out, they didn't want to deal with it anymore. The last visit, my daughter also asked if she would still be able to be spayed even though she's been vomiting. The vet proceeded to tell her yes, she doesn't have to tell them that she's vomiting.

I was delighted to find out that he opened up his own practice. From the moment I presented , I was made to feel important and valued as a dog , mom. I found their prices on some things to be a little high. I found their prices on other things to be more than fair! So overall, it's just like anywhere else. There's good and bad as far as the prices go. As far as the people go, I can tell you that they are over the top amazing , and I absolutely love chrissy!!!!!! I know that there have been a few people on here that have left reviews, saying that they don't appreciate her unprofessionalism, because she calls people, sweetie, or honey. Well , you know what I'll take , sweetie and honey all day , long versus someone who's got a dry sense of personality or acts like a wet rag. My animals are relaxed around her,And that tells me everything that I need to know! I live in anaheim , so it's a little bit of a drive for me. Last Friday I came in because like everybody else. My dogs are itching like mad and I was prescribed a medication Temaril-P ,that I could afford, because I could not afford the shot that was recommended, that was gonna cost me over $500 for BOTH dogs TOTAL. Well, my one dog. Had a reaction , I have Rottweilers , and they weigh over a hundred pounds each that is why the Cytopoint shots would've cost so much. My one dog had a very bad reaction. After communicating with the veterinary staff , they addressed my issue and had me come back in. Gigi is going to be fine. Our Tech Chrissy is just the sweetest, kindest person I've had the pleasure of meeting and just wants me to bring her back in anyway just to see that she is better. It's not a money thing , IT'S A SHE CARES THING !! THIS IS THE KIND OF PLACE YOU WANT CARING FOR YOUR FURRY KIDS ! HECK I'D BE HAPPY IF MY OWN DR. CARED SO MUCH LOL You know, there's an old saying, and it goes something like this. "You can't please all the people all the time ". Someone is always gonna find something to b**** about whether it's because they Were not addressed by their last name , or because a price is too high or because something's not cleaned to their level of expectation or the wait time , hours of operation, or fill in the blank, but I can tell you overall, I absolutely love this. Establishment, I do feel they care about our animals. That to Some of us are not animals, they are our family. Is Pro Vet perfect no, but please tell me who is. Pro Vet does the best that they can do with the resources that they have available to them. There are a lot of people that are in need and they only have two hands. In all the times that I 've been there , which has been a handful now I have never seen them be uncaring to anyone in the lobby. As walk in clients , I don't feel that we have had to wait an exceptionally long time, nor have I ever felt rushed. So ABSOLUTELY I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I WOULD GIVE TEN STARS IF THEY WOULD ALLOW IT. . Ps. They even have a really nice enclosed patio area with nice tables you can sit at , so peaceful and relaxing.

The doctors appeared knowledgeable, and the clinical care itself was appropriate. However, the overall experience was cold, rushed, and overwhelming. Communication focused heavily on costs, paperwork, and internal process rather than comfort, reassurance, or clear explanation, even while we were visibly anxious. The interaction felt transactional rather than compassionate. At discharge, we were never clearly told how our cat responded to treatment or why she was considered ready to go home. There was no explanation of her condition after fluids and medications, no reassurance about her stability, and no clear medical summary in plain language. We were left to assume she was okay simply because she was being discharged. While we were waiting for our cat, my daughter experienced low blood sugar. I clearly stated, "My daughter Hannah's blood sugar is low," and explained that I was worried about her condition. I asked if I could step out briefly and come back for our cat so I could take care of my daughter first. Instead of reassurance or acknowledgment of that urgency, the response was, "Let me check if she can be discharged now." The focus shifted to expediting our cat's discharge rather than accommodating a child's medical emergency. I had to follow up because of the urgency of my daughter's condition. Our cat was then discharged without clear communication that she was medically ready and without being allowed additional time to rest after treatment. In that moment, it felt like process and payment were prioritized over situational awareness, empathy, and basic human compassion. In an emergency setting, medical treatment alone is not enough. Clear communication, empathy, and human awareness matter just as much. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported as pet owners or as parents facing a medical emergency with our child. I hope this clinic seriously reevaluates its bedside manner and client communication, because emergencies require humanity, not just procedures.
