How are there no reviews yet? Got Pipes is THE BEST plumbing and heating service in the area…read morewithout question. My house has had spotty heat since I moved in, but I didn't own it until December 2021. As usual, the first very cold night of the year led to the heat going off, and I'd always called another local business for that problem. The other business would come out, tinker with the thermostat, charge me $225 and leave without fixing anything. A friend recommended Got Pipes, and number one, this company is very friendly and very responsive. I didn't realize how uncommon that was until I encountered it, and not having proper heat on cold days is the worst. So that's excellent. Second, on the very first visit, Eric came within like an hour and immediately explained the problem to me - that if the pipes froze, the heat would not work. In the dozens of visits from the company I used to use over the years, no one ever said anything about that. But I want to mention an experience that was really unusual. I had an inspector tell me I needed to lift up the boiler to pass an inspection, and he warned me it was costly. Once again, I called Got Pipes, Eric came out, and he insisted it was properly installed and that this was an unnecessary expense/risk. He even told me that if the inspector pressed it, to give the guy his number. The inspector DID press it, but the inspector's supervisor reviewed the finding and realized it was properly installed and already to code. I am so lucky I wasn't using the previous company, because it would have cost me a ton of money unnecessarily and likely would have required a complete replacement too. A month or so ago, I needed a vanity replaced and a tap fixed. Even though this was not an emergency, the vanity was outside and too heavy for me to move. And again, they came out really fast and installed the vanity and did an excellent job. (Pricing is insanely reasonable, from a person with not a lot of disposable income.) Being so new to owning a house, learning about and finding service people is difficult and scary, and often you don't know beforehand if initiating a service call has a baseline cost of a few hundred dollars (even if nothing is fixed). I'm no longer apprehensive about addressing problems/maintenance or replacing things, because plumbing and heating are such a big part of home maintenance and I know a great company can handle it.

He located and opened the septic tank that hasn't been opened in many years. He was honest and said it was fine and did not require service. I had him do it anyway since it was open and I wouldn't have to worry about it for a long time. He left it spotless! He returned the next day with his father (family business) with camera and all the tools needed to tackle a clog of any size. They used the camera to locate the mild clog and used a large snake to clear it. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and showed me everything as they worked so I learned a lot. Pricing was extremely fair. They are licensed, insured and guaranteed their work for a few months. I would highly recommend them.

I completed a full nightmare of a dormer on my home and was very skeptical to ever hire another contractor again. Tommy and Joe came to remove my waste line so a basement repair company could repair a collapsing wall. They removed all the piping in one day with only one weeks notice. The basement wall repair was completed the next day, and then the plumbing was completed on the third day. They also came to install a slop sink for my washer and a full home water filtration system with second faucet. All of this was completed in three days. Literally flawlessly and the guys were so accommodating, polite and helpful. I am so grateful that there are good workers still left in this world like Tommy and Joe because they made this repair so easy for me and my family I even had a loose/wobbly bathtub faucet in my upstairs bathroom that Tommy helped me out with free of charge. Very grateful for all their help.

I'm too old to use this word, but it fits perfectly! I WAS GHOSTED! At a quarter to one I called the number on the business card, he said was always in his pocket. No answer after several tries. Left a few voicemails and tried the other business number on the BELLO BUSINESS CARD. Two days later and no attempt to excuse or explain the blatant disrespect! I've been in this house for twenty years and shrugged off the insignificant question, 1974 on my name plank at the front door. The limp hand shake and constant side viewing. I am too brown to be around MASSAPEQUA PARK. 1974 this was 100% white, but your brown face does not compute with this address. Maybe I'm just annoyed about the disrespect and reading too much into it, but I called the numbers he gave me and we shook hands eye to eye. Even if he has legitimate reason for not taking a job, GHOSTING the client is not a good practice, but who am I to judge? Two days later not a word!
