This condition makes me more prone to orthopedic injuries, but having this condition also comes with a much higher risk of complications with any surgeries, which I have experienced in the past. I recently injured my shoulder and wanted to make sure it wasn't something that required treatment. I always get anxious when I see any type of surgeon as most aren't knowledgeable about EDS and can't properly take it into consideration when discussing next steps. I was so relieved to find that not only was Dr Bastian very knowledgeable about EDS, but prioritized it as a factor when recommending next steps. He did a thorough exam and outlined a detailed recovery plan, then even took the time to give lifestyle tips in general with my condition. He was such a pleasure to chat with and a rare case of a surgeon without a surgeon's ego. It was also easy to get in with him and everyone at the office was wonderful. Very highly recommend!

He was the one who also helped me get my spinal tumor found as he knew that something wasn't working right when the treatment (at the time) had plateaued, and he encouraged further medical testing. That resulted in a spinal fusion and he worked to get me back in functioning order - most importantly, safely. This genuinely may have saved my life. When I think back to the weeks & months immediately following surgery I do not know how I would have survived or rehabbed safely without physical therapy - hands down. He is not one to just suggest surgery without trying other solutions first. I truly appreciated his advice and highly recommend him for anyone needing a foot/ ankle specialist. Parking can be difficult as there is no street parking, but a structure that is shared with other medical facilities. It's busy and not easy to find parking. Arrive early! I had run a marathon a few months back and my big toenail stopped growing. By just looking at it, he knew that it was a bone spur. Within weeks I had surgery, and I was back on my feet the next day. The process was smooth and seamless. Dr Joseph went above and beyond to make sure I was fully taken care of throughout the entire process. At my follow-up, he noticed my ankle was wobbly and asked if we could take a closer look. The MRI revealed three torn ligaments, four stretched ligaments, a partially torn Achilles, two bursitises, and inflammation throughout the ankle. I knew my ankle had gone through some wear and tear after years of running cross country and track, but I had no idea it was so bad. He treated everything. I spent one week off my foot, the next in a boot, and was running again within six weeks. He worked with my schedule, was reachable by phone throughout, and took time to help me understand everything as it came up. I'm really grateful for Dr Joseph for fixing my ankle and toe. I want to be able to run marathons until I'm 60 years old, and after the work Dr. Joseph did, I can actually see that being a reality someday. I recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for an amazing podiatrist.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Before seeing Dr. Moradian, I was in severe pain and could barely function. It had reached a point where I was no longer able to work, and my daily life was extremely difficult. After trying acupuncture and even strong medications, I still did not experience the relief I desperately needed. I was especially hesitant to move forward with an epidural due to a traumatic experience I had in the past while I was pregnant and in labor at a different facility with another physician. At that time, epidurals are typically performed without imaging, especially in an urgent labor setting, which contributed to my distress. Because of that experience, I was extremely fearful and delayed making the decision for quite some time. However, Dr. Moradian completely changed that experience. He explained that this procedure would be performed under imaging guidance, which immediately gave me more confidence and reassurance. He took the time to calm my fears, remained patient and attentive, and made sure I felt safe every step of the way. His gentle approach and professionalism truly set him apart. The procedure itself went smoothly from beginning to end. To my surprise, I felt minimal discomfort just the initial injection to numb the area before the epidural, and nothing more. Dr. Moradian was incredibly careful, kind, and reassuring throughout, especially knowing how anxious I was. His calm demeanor made all the difference. What truly sets Dr. Moradian apart is not only his skill, but his genuine care for his patients. He follows up, listens, and ensures you feel supported throughout your healing journey. His staff reflects that same level of excellence they are organized, attentive, and truly compassionate. As someone with experience in medical office management, I pay close attention to how a practice operates, from patient communication to staff coordination. I can confidently say this team exceeds expectations in every aspect. The environment is professional, welcoming, clean and centered around patient care. Thanks to Dr. Moradian, I am now doing significantly better and finally able to regain my quality of life. I am beyond grateful for the care I received and would recommend him without hesitation. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Dr. Moradian and his team truly go above and beyond. I feel blessed to have found them, and I sincerely thank them for helping me through such a difficult time.

So here it goes: Gather round, my friends, it's story time. So without divulging my entire medical history, I will share with my fellow Yelpers that I, Margo "Yelp-go", have EDS (has nothing to do with ED and everything to do with chronic pain) I have been to SO many pain management doctors (around 6) and after a bad experience at Risser Orthopedic (don't worry, I'll get to that review later) I decided to search for the Dr that led me to go to Risser in the first place (*cue the music*) Dr Moradian! I had seen Dr Moradian briefly around 7 yrs prior after a car accident, at Risser. He was kind, professional and after 5 other pain management doctors later, definitely more skilled. (Yes, I will publicly shame these past practices at a later date. Your girl's trying to stay positive here) When I returned to Risser, I asked to see Dr Moradian and was told he was no longer there. Obviously, I created a false narrative that he retired young and was traveling the Bahamas in happiness and that he was no longer an option for me. So fast forward to me having enough of the disappointment with Risser. (I'm talking about them randomly changing appointments on me without letting me know and literally calling me for a phone appointment when my poor grandma was dying in a hospital and then charging me for not being available despite not ever scheduling me for that day. Then mix in Evelyn with the attitude...) I digress, I was just done. I felt like I was starting from ground zero and decided I would just google Dr Moradian. I guess I thought, "hmm, maybe he's retired but has a a twin with the same career and professionalism". I'm so glad I did because *BAM* I found him (in hindsight I should have just started with this, but hey, you live and you learn) When I called to schedule, he wasn't available. An invisible tear fell from my face. The lady on the other line recommended that I try his colleague Dr Vartanian. I admit, I was hesitant but figured he had to be "okay" if he was with Dr Moradian. I was RIGHT (and a little wrong) because Dr Vartanian is amazing! *confetti emoji* He's not only the most gentle Trigger Point Injector (again, I've had this done by now 7 drs.) but he's also compassionate towards his patients and encourages a plan towards maintaining mobility for a rewarding life. He's the first doctor that I would vouch for to say that he's a genuinely good person. Not just a "good doctor" but a "good person".
