During my first visit, I was promised that my two skin tags and my mole will be removed during the same visit, which would be next time. I was also promised a whole body exam next time. During my first visit, I was also told that I did NOT need a biopsy for my mole that was going to be removed along with the two skin tags. During my actual procedure, I was told by the same doctor that promised the above that the skin tags or moles must be removed one at a time: one for each visit. Surprise! They also told me that all removed moles and skin tags must be biopsied. Which they did! So I'm gonna have to pay for what he originally told me not to worry about- it did not need a biopsy. Double surprise! After they removed my mole, they did not do my whole body skin exam. I felt quite disappointed after the visit. Most likely won't be using them again.

I left it because other openings closer to me weren't until 2025. In my spare time I consulted Dr Google so I somewhat already knew what was going on. I met with the nurse practitioner and my visit was concluded in under 5 minutes. This after taking time off from work, a 45-50 minute drive, and filling out forms prior to the appointment and downloading the patient app. Could this not have been conducted via telehealth or could I have been squeezed in for a 15 minute appointment closer to my home? The NP confirmed my and Dr Google's diagnosis and the issue should be resolved soon. I just would have preferred that this could have been less inconvenient for all involved.

His office staff has since grown from 2 in his Arlington Heights office to quite a few and they were always overwhelmed by the numbers of patients. I've since moved to Plainfield, over 30 miles away and would not even consider going to any other dermatologist. And while I still see Dr Glazer senior, everyone that sees Dr Alex just raves about him as well. From the moment you walk in, the staff is warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Sameer is an experienced vein specialist, and honestly, who better to trust working on your face than someone with that level of expertise and attention to detail? You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his patients. And Sadiah, I will only go to her for my lips. She is meticulous and has such a great eye for detail. They send you a Notification of Appointment email, which is fine but it says that they want you to have a credit card on file and they expect you to "click to confirm" that you are agreeing with this to verify the appointment. I did not click to confirm and when asked for my credit card I told them that I would not give it to them to keep it on file because my wife had her identity stolen about 10 years ago from exactly the same thing, but I would be glad to provide them payment with a credit card at the time of service when they needed it. They told me they would have to cancel the appointment in that case. When looking for dermatologists within my network and area, Beaird Dermatology came up as a…read morerecommended option. Their office is located in a multi story building in Hoffman Estates by the I-90 expressway. Their office seems newer with concrete floors/white walls being minimal and modern. It was easy to get an appt and I didn't have to wait too long as a first time patient. My first visit was a general visit to check for concerning blemishes and discuss some long-standing skin concerns. I was prescribed three different creams for three different areas as well as recommended an over the counter shampoo. I tried products as recommended and didn't see results. I recently reached out (3 months later) to follow up that items weren't working and was told I'd have to come back in because I didn't follow up. It was news to me as I was never told to follow up on my terms; I expect my doctor to reach out to me. Either way, I scheduled another appt which was another copay. I was recommended two new creams as well as a pill prescription. It's been a week and no pharmacy has reached out to me saying I have a prescription to fill and the pill left me with side effects within days so I stopped taking. I followed up with the office, they asked if I could come back in which would be ANOTHER copay. I sadly am deciding to cut my loses with working with their practice. I refuse to pay another copay three business days after visiting because they didn't ask the right questions when I was last in. I felt the PA I had was kind but other staff was not and only talked in medical terms which left me confused and hard to follow conversation/questions. My PA seemed like he did care but I am left feeling like they want my money more than finding a solution to help me.

They were very thorough when explaining the procedure,…read moreafter care and recovery expectations and made me feel very comfortable during the actual procedures. Dr. Bhatia and his nurses are extremely caring and genuine. I have been beyond satisfied with my experience and results and highly recommend them! I had severe cystic acne that left me with depressions in my cheeks and made me extremely self conscious when wearing makeup or being in a certain kind of light that seemed to call even more attention to my scars. As someone who has lived with acne scars for over 20 years and has tried a whole host of topical creams, fillers and even laser treatments, I was optimistic when I was referred to Dr. Bhatia by my dermatologist. When I met with Dr. Bhatia for my consultation, I could hear the confidence in his voice that I was a great candidate for subcision and filler. He explained the procedure along with the realistic expected recovery time. Additionally he laid out a plan for how to improve other skin concerns I had like my skin texture, acne flare-ups and oil production. I left hopeful that he could help make some improvements to the depressed areas on my cheeks. It is now 5 months after my subcision procedure and there aren't enough words to describe how happy I am with the results. The comments and compliments from my friends and family who've known how I've struggled with my scars make me feel even more confident about the results. In the plan Dr. Bhatia had discussed with me he felt I could improve the overall texture of my skin and start rebuilding collagen with a Mixto CO2 Fractional Laser procedure. I had that done in February and once again the procedure, recovery time and results were exactly as he described them. The great thing about the Mixto laser is that I will continue to see more improvements for the next several months. I went in recently for a check-up and some botox and decided to make an appointment to have subcision on the scars on my chin. I am looking forward to this procedure as it will finish out my journey down the acne scar recovery path, a path a year ago I never even knew existed. I feel so fortunate to have been introduced to Dr. Bhatia as he has really changed the way I look at myself and I finally feel confident in my appearance.
