They offered a complimentary back massage, but the chairs are not built for that. I awkwardly got into prone position, and my toenails were still wet, so the polish came off. They were also out of a lot of their nail polish colours. I appreciated all the services they included in the basic mani and pedi though. The foot scrub and mini hand/foot massages were super nice.

(And I kind of like looking at the hands and feet of other people. It's a good standard of hygiene. And, well, a well manicured man is a clean man, right? Right.) So when Beauty and Butter opened, I was curious to try them out right away. Their store has an overarching black and yellow theme with pops of color every now and then (a common practice with most nail salons). They also have a variety of services that also include waxes, massages, facials and scrubs. But I just tried out their manipedi. I love how they use a different set for each customer that comes in, and is in a sterilized pack which they break open just as you're beginning the session. (So if you're kind of germ phobic, like me, this is for you!) They have a many colors to choose from, apart from ones that have to be paid in extra. I also like how the manicurists take the time to pay extra attention to your nails, like how they suggest to maybe hold off on the polish this time to let your nails rest and recover. (Instead of pushing their other products just so they can earn more!) This place is a bit expensive though, at around 400-500 for a manipedi, but you're in good hands! Trust me :)

Maybe it was because they were rushing to finish up clients but my manicure lasted a day; with lots of peeling polish at the end of day 1. But being on vacation I really expected them to last longer... great service but maybe not so great polish...

My hands had not seen a manicure in ages, and my feet, well - they needed help too. This is located in between the main wing and south wing of MOA on the second floor. In that whole area, there are about 5-10 other nail shops you can shop and may pass through, although most of them are on the south building, while this is on the main building. For some reason, I think this place had the most reasonable prices (aka, cheaper...), but I could be wrong. I had the mani/pedi combo, I think it was 700. Daughter got acrylics extensions for 1500. Her boyfriend did a pedi. We were all very satisfied with the level of service and the quality cures we had. Workers were friendly and very patient. They took their time and made sure our toes and hands were clean and looked great! Second time around - this time we were on a really limited schedule. I wanted to do the same thing all over again, mani/pedi, but no time. My 2 teenage boys got their first manicures (200 each) because they are too old for the kid mani which was 150. I had a 30 minute back massage for 350. Sooo relaxing, was willing to do a 1.5 hour massage but again, no time. The only thing I did not like was that massage lady kept trying to sell me Argan oil for my body and hair, which I had to turn down.

The manicurist took the acrylic layers off gently using the acetone soaked cotton and foil method. After twenty minutes and brief scraping of the acrylic layer, my nails were free to be trimmed and cleaned up. I appreciate that she took her time and that she made sure my friend and I were comfy as we sat in the coach. The reason for the one star off is because she charged me 700 pesos to remove the acrylic m, which I think is quite expensive... in the states, it's only $5.00 (240pesos).

My recommendation: Cre8 Salon (Katipunan, QC but they have a lot of branches. They're mani & pedi only cost Php 88.00 and that's already Orly nail polish, high quality)

Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed, stressed, and concerned about the condition of my nails. The therapist who attended to me, Irene, appeared to be very careless during the procedure. She was too rough while cleaning my nails, causing significant discomfort and pain. I informed her that I have high blood sugar and requested that she be more gentle and careful. Despite this, my nail started bleeding. I no longer felt comfortable with how the service was being performed, as the pain continued and there seemed to be little effort to adjust her technique. When she proceeded to clean my other foot, the same thing happened. I again told her that it was painful and asked her to stop because it was already bleeding as well. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that your nail cleaning service costs more than what many other nail salons charge. I did not mind paying a higher price because I expected better care, professionalism, and attention to client safety. Unfortunately, that was not what I experienced. As of now, my nail has become swollen and has developed pus, causing significant pain and discomfort. This has resulted in additional stress and concern on my part. I hope management will take this matter seriously, review the incident, and ensure that staff members are properly trained to perform services safely and with the level of care that clients deserve. No customer should leave a salon with an injury and a possible infection after a routine nail cleaning service. Rating: 1/5 - Very disappointing experience.

A few seat locations need to be reupholstered, but they cover those areas with a towel. This place looks much nicer and cleaner than most nail salons. There is usually a movie playing. If you're the only one having your nails done, you could usually ask them to play a different movie. Let's get started with the All Out Diva Pedicure that I pamper myself with. Nica (Veronica) soaks my feet in nice warm water. She applies a mask onto my feet and calves, then wraps it with cellophane. She proceeds to cut my toe nails and cuticles. Afterwards, an exfoliation scrub is massaged onto my calves and feet. They are then wrapped with a towel. After ? minutes, the scrub is rinsed off with warm water. A warm towel is used to remove whatever might have been left behind. The calves and feet are massaged with an oil. Lotion is then added onto the calves and feet in which the massage continues. As one calf/foot is being massaged, the other side is covered with a towel. You'll need to let her know if you want a soft or hard massage. Afterwards, both legs are covered with a towel. The towels are removed and my feet are individually placed within plastic bags filled with paraffin wax. Booties are placed on top of the plastic bags, and the calves are wrapped with a towel. After ? minutes, the towel, bootie, plastic and wax is removed. The calves and feet are wiped down with a dry towel. An under coat is applied onto my toe nails. A double coat of the base coat is applied. My French tips are then painted on. The top coat is the end of my pedicure. I then go under the fans to dry the nail polish. Sounds awesome right? That is because it is! All that wonderful pampering for 1000 Pesos. I usually come mid-week, and I like being Nica's last customer of the day. I make sure I tip Nica well, because it is my way of thanking her for the amount of time she takes to pamper me.
