Beautiful Apple store located in Miami Worldcenter next to Lucky Strike and Lululemon…read more Stopped in here to look for a USB-A to USB-C adapter. I purchased an adapter from Apple recently with online order and it was the wrong one. Apple does not make the USB-A to USB-C adapter but the Apple associate who helped me informed me that Beats is closest thing to Apple product since Apple bought Beats. Cost was $18.99 so not bad. The Mophie option was $19.99. Noted. I decided to wait on this purchase to see if I really needed it. This is more for all the new plugs changing over to USB-C but I still want to use anything I have that still caters to USB-A. Confusing right? Ha. All in all, Apple customer service is usually always top notch and the stores are minimalistic. Clean and modern. Aesthetically pleasing. Great location!

The Apple Watch I had for a little over three years breathed its last this past Saturday evening…read more Apparently I missed a step when trying to login a swimming workout and it did not go fully water resistant. It started turning off, locking, and just switching to the Apple icon. I first stopped by the T-Mobile store in Wynwood and they were out of watches with the wrist strap that I wanted. To their credit the T-Mobile employee referred me to go to this Apple Store. I explained the situation first to Sebastian, the sales manager on the floor. He tested and was able to generate at least a partial credit for my old watch. He then talked me through the configuration and selection process for a new watch through their in-store iPad. He also explained that I could've swapped out my wrist band into the new watch. (I have one of the sports ones instead of the default when it comes with the iPhone.) After completing my order & payment, he asked that Denise help me with the actual configuration & setup for my watch. She had me sit at one of the open table / workbenches and charge my phone while the ioS software updated on my phone & watch. This did take almost over an hour, which was a hiccup to my Sunday schedule. However, I now have a new & functioning AppleWatch. The store itself is pretty clean and well lit, though watched by the tough looking security guys at various points along the store. The bathroom is accessible behind a service corridor.

Bought a speaker that works. *Edit* Bought the most expensive screen. That seems to work but the camera is still saying that it's a fake.

This business is about one mile from my house and I never knew it existed. After finding out about…read morethem and using them on Saturday, I am writing this review so that others will learn about them. I woke up Saturday morning to find my Samsung Note 10 coming apart at the seams. I took it to the uBreakiFix location in Coral Gables where I was informed that it needed a new battery. I was further advised that the cost would be $86, but that they didn't have one in stock and that if they ordered one, it would not be delivered until Thursday or Friday of the following week. I thanked the gentleman for the information, but told him that I would see if I could find one in stock at another location. I called a different repair shop a couple of miles away, as well as the next closest uBreakiFix location in South Miami, but they were both out of stock as well. I then Googled "phone repair near me" and El Sitio Tech came up. I called and lo and behold, they had the battery in stock and could install it that afternoon. I didn't even ask about cost as it didn't appear I had much choice given my earlier attempts to locate a battery. When I arrived, I was surprised that the cost was only $45 and would only take about 20 minutes. I went for a short walk along Calle Ocho and when I returned, I had my phone back, good as new. This is definitely going to be my go-to place for phone repair. They have a nice location set back from Calle Ocho with a parking lot in front. (Which is definitely an added plus.) The business itself is nice, clean, with a fairly large retail presence for phone accessories in addition to the repair business, as well as having friendly and proficient employees.
