Despite receiving full insurance funds for a complete roof replacement with premium materials, the company left major sections untouched and instead used cheap materials worth a fraction of what was paid for. The owner, Marc Ross, was informed of these problems repeatedly -- including serious misconduct from his crew -- and not only failed to correct them but continued to make the situation worse. Workers were caught on video drinking on the job, stealing copper, and even trying to blame an innocent young woman for the theft until video evidence cleared her. They destroyed a custom, expensive birdbath, tore up our yard, and showed an astonishing lack of professionalism. Marc Ross was fully aware of these issues and lied to us multiple times, failed to supervise his crew, and was paid for work in areas that were never even touched. In my opinion, this is not just poor workmanship -- it's deceptive business practice. We are now starting legal action and reported the company to regulatory agencies ( including the attorney general , insurance company , police department ,licensing board , BBB , and a few others ). I strongly urge others to steer clear of Ohio Roof Masters and Marc Ross. This has been an exhausting and costly experience -- don't make the same mistake we did!

You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. Their own contract states the work would be completed in a workmanlike manner according to industry standards, yet the system as installed does not function properly. To their credit, they did come back out and mentioned offering a discounted solution--but I have not received any follow-up since then. At the end of the day, I paid for a working gutter system, and I don't think it's reasonable to be charged extra to correct an incomplete or improper installation. I would recommend getting very clear, detailed scope in writing before hiring.

Excellent communication through James, very polite, responsive, and goes an extra mile to make sure everything is done right. It was a very big and complex project because of the multiple steep pitch roof areas, replacing gutters, encasing chimney with stone. They did quality work.

Chuck, along with his son, was quick to respond, listen to our needs, give us estimates, and remain in constant communication with us. Pictures were taken to show us what needed our attention and a scheduling of services began. We did not know that our chimney needed repair. One of his crew came prior to any roofing being installed to restore our chimney. We appreciated the detailed pictures that were shown to us before of the damaged areas and after to show us the work completed.
