I had a great experience, no problems. Fast forward to last week Friday, March 1st 2024 I had to take my son's truck because it turns out he has a bit of a heavy foot. I did call a company here in Homestead who without seeing the truck was quoting me a minimum of $2,000. Since we had a great experience with Transmission Express the last time, I decided to take his truck to the North end of the county. This time the truck left me stranded on 826, what an experience. Can I just say that Miami drivers can be a$*%! Anyhow, I called Ray, and he recommended a local tow company, and I got picked up within 35 minutes. The tow company dropped off the vehicle and I got a call from Ray within a couple of days. He provided information regarding the damages, cost, and repair timeframe. Honestly, I can tell you that Ray and Hector are honest, reliable, and professional. As a Miami-Dade County native that says a lot! They were clear about the work, price, and warranty, no surprises! Hopefully, I don't have to visit them again soon but if I had to take any vehicle for a transmission repair it would be to Transmission Express, NO DOUBT!

I needed a few sensors changed on my wife's transmission, I sent my wife to do it they first told…read moreher 695 to "inspect" even though I sent her w an inspection results from AutoZone. By the time I got there they receded the inspection price LOL and told me it would be comped if we worked with them (something they didn't even mention to my wife) then claimed they cannot change any sensors without completing overhauling my transmission for 1k+ obviously. And that's without them "claiming" any new issues in the transmission. When I called my family friend mechanic for a second opinion. They start getting upset & confrontational telling me why I don't just go to my family mechanic (he's a retired senior with arthritis). They go on to say they will not change the sensors unless we allow them to completely overhaul the Transmission because In his own words "it's too much work" I spoke to the bald man & old Hispanic man with glasses. I would not recommend any women go here, if they try this hard to upsell men who know, they will be funding staff vacations with the price they give you ladies guranteed. They also stated they don't care for there reviews so they don't mind if I left an honest one explaining what I just experienced. Those guys are so tough.

I brought my 2025 BMW M340i to MPI for a full performance install -- everything from tires,…read moreexhaust, intercooler, charge pipe, to tuning -- and most of the work was handled very professionally. The staff is friendly, the shop is well-equipped, and they were patient with all my questions throughout the process. However, I did run into a serious issue that I think is important to mention. After the install, I began experiencing multiple check engine lights, drivetrain warnings, and rattling noises that made the car feel off despite being brand new. After weeks of frustration and diagnostics, I took the car to Davie Motorsports, where they discovered that the downpipe was installed without the required O-ring -- and instead putty was used to seal the joint. That oversight caused the exact symptoms I was experiencing. I had to locate the O-ring myself at home and bring it to them so the issue could be resolved. While I understand mistakes can happen, this kind of detail really matters, especially with high-performance setups where everything depends on proper sealing and fitment. That said, I do appreciate the work MPI did overall, and the car feels amazing now that the issue is corrected. I just hope they use this feedback as a reminder to double-check the small things that can have a big impact.

He's not he kinda mechanic to make you replace parts that don't need to be replaced. Throughout the years mechanic Jose & his wife have been 100% honest with me and the issues related to my vehicles. Even when it comes to shopping around for prices they always come in cheaper then the competitors in the area. It's an unfortunate fact that you can't trust many mechanics with your vehicle, however like I said before Jose is 100% trustworthy and reliable. I feel guilty for not having expressed my self sooner on yelp because he truly is the freaking best mechanic that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I have been so pleased with his service that in a time where it's impossible to recommend people because they are unreliable, I always recommend Jose to my family members, friends and neighbors. Mr Jose, thank you for being the example of what an expert mechanic should be! If your looking for an honest mechanic that will always treat your vehicle with integrity then Jose is the mechanic you've been looking for.
