i like to stay tan and have a sun-kissed glow, but i dont have time to sit on the beach every day to maintain one. so, i keep up in between trips to the beach by regularly tanning in a tanning salon bed. despite its bad rap, i find the process of tanning at a salon to be safe (the uv lights are filtered and timed, unlike the sun which can literally be deadly), effective (i get that beautiful tan color i want), and healthy (i also get my vitamin D !). in looking for a salon that checks all my boxes (friendly and knowledgeable staff, cleanliness, competitive prices, newer/well maintained equipment/beds, and store location/hours that fit my schedule) i came across miami tan. initially, it was just in a great location, but after i visited the salon (clean and smells good), spoke with the staff (no matter who you talk to, everyone is so nice), and used their amazing ergoline beds, i decided to join their monthly subscription. its worth every penny ! i am so glad miami tans exists, and theyre as great as they are. see you again soon ! read more

I am so disappointed and wish what happened wouldn't have been an issue because the guy at the desk was so kind and helpful and the place looked so clean and the room was stocked with everything you needed.... But the spray tan machine completed an uneven spray tan. This was not my first time in a spray tan machine (more like my 7th time) and I did all the poses on the sign as always and I have never gotten an uneven spray before. So I am unsure if something was wrong with the sprayer jet or what but I will not be coming back for my spay tan for my wedding as this practice showed. read more

I used to work in a tanning salon for years. This first-hand experience has ruined many a trip for me, and I've seen some RANK @$$ salons all over the US. I know about the regulations, I know about the laws, and most importantly what to look for to see if a bed has been cleaned correctly. After just two trips to Miami Tan, I can confidently and highly recommend it. They have multiple people working at the same time which means beds are thoroughly cleaned, rotations move efficiently, and guests are personally attended-to at the front desk quickly. It's clear who's an employee because they're all wearing a T-shirts that identify them as such. All super pleasant, friendly, professional, and do their job well. I move around a lot and have constant terrible experiences with salons in whatever new city I happen to be residing in. As a result I just don't end up tanning because some of the places are so bad. I was reminded today because the owner let me know my monthly unlimited had ended a couple days ago, but I just got done running and didn't have my card and he understood and still let me Tan :) I also let him know I will be out of town on the 6th-17th and he informed me that you can pay your usual monthly unlimited amount and for $10 more whether from whatever date you leave on when you get back they will start your 30day! That's awesome. So you won't waste the however days ur away.. anyway! lol ..that place is always always always clean! Lockers for rent for regulars to keep glasses, tanning products - protectors etc. No matter how busy it always seems to be kept cool, can't imagine the electric bill here. I absolutely LOVE this place already!! Down here visiting from Las Vegas & have found myself searching for a good tanning salon on more than one occasion. I visited a few places with their level two beds costing anywhere around $25-$30 so when I walked in here & found out that their BEST bed is only $25 - I was overjoyed! I ended up purchasing the Sun Gate 30 day month unlimited package for $150 which gives you access to all of the beds. Even if I only go 6 times, I'll still be getting my money's worth! Their lotion prices are amazing & they are well stocked with anything you could imagine. I purchased my membership, a new bottle of lotion (much cheaper than what Las Vegas salons charge) & the teeth whitening kit "Twilight Teeth" which you can use in the beds & it actually comes with a take home mini UV light! I couldn't have asked for better service, prices or inventory. The beds are amazing! Definitely worth checking out :) read more
