Fabiola is the best! I had an event that I needed a tan for and she accommodated me within a few hours notice. I also was running very late, and she was kind enough to keep the salon open to accommodate me. Sometimes spray tans can be a bit awkward, but there were no times where I felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately my tan only lasted through the weekend that I needed it for before it began to become patchy. I prefer tanning on my own but if you have an event that you need a tan for and don't mind it fading unevenly, then this shouldn't be an issue. Thank you Fabiola! read more

I truly hate leaving bad reviews but I wish I had read this prior to my experience so I'm hoping this will help someone else. At 25 years old, I got my 2nd ever spray tan for my best friends weddings. Of course, I wanted it to be natural as possible, as I got one many years ago and loved it. Full disclosure, I am fair skinned. However, I am not the first fair skinned person to get a spray tan nor am I the last. The good: The woman who did my tan was nice, it's in anatomy gym so a good area. Was 62 dollars, unsure if that's a good price since I never get spray tans but I don't mind paying that. The not good: the woman who did my tan (not fabiola, her assistant) told me that she's giving me "'medium color". I specifically paused her and said are you sure? I'm really fair skinned I of course do not want to be orange!! She told me that she does this tons of times a day and that she's positive she will put the right color on me. I'm sure you can guess what happened. I was orange. I was livid. How could she put such an intense color on my skin!!!! I even showered 3 hours before she advised me to Bc I could just tell it was too dark. I HATE to leave bad reviews but as a professional spray tan, this is unacceptable. There is most definitely a way to give fair skinned people a natural looking glow. Sobe tan by Fabiola did not do that. I of course will not be back (probably too traumatized to ever do a spray again) and unfortunately can't recommend. Disappointed :( read more

I was on vacation and needed a last minute express spray tan for all the pool parties I wasn't originally planning on going to. I made the earliest reservation I could find online which happened to be Spray Tan by Fabiola. It's a really small space on the second floor that is located within a gym, definitely a hole in the wall vibe and not what I had expected. When I arrived I had no idea if and and where I was supposed to wait, so I just stood outside the door until my appointment time. The spray tan process was really quick and through and the technician was really nice. The reason I am giving it 5 stars is because it's the best spray tan result I have ever had- the bronze looks really natural, really even development, not splotchy at all. Lasted me at least 4 days. I would definitely make an effort to come back the next time I'm in Miami. read more

Horrible horrible experience ! She barely speaks English , hung up on me when I tried to ask where I can park , I was shocked . I called again because I truly had no idea as to where to park . She signed loud and hung up again . When I finally entered after parking in a nearby Publix ,she was rude dismissive and I excused myself to leave without getting my tan , mind you , I really needed a tan for an event but I was not going to stay in her company another minute .Downstairs the front desk pple were so nice to refer me to another place just right down the road from them , and they apologized for the behavior of Fabiola . Highly recommend! The most amazing spray-tan I have ever had! Natural-looking, pleasant scent (none of the usual spray tanner heavy smell), and really long-lasting. The team are experts and spray you so that you appear contoured. After my tan I met the owner Fabiola who was so sweet and professional and offered free touch-ups the next day if needed! I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Miami. Tips: * bring an umbrella or sweatshirt as I did not have mine with me and of course as soon as I left the salon it started raining! Luckily my tan was still perfect as I took shelter immediately. * shower with sulfate-free products either from the salon or one such as Dove Anti-Stress Micellar Water Body Wash (not other Dove washes as they are not good for spray tans) to maintain your tan. * if you plan on going to the beach or pool and are on vacation, schedule the timing of your spray tan strategically. Best products I've ever encountered and I'm quite the avid spray tanner! They're not sticky or smelly and they look so natural not orange! Maritza is THE BEST! I always have to remind her what we did previously as I switch things up a bit depending on the occasion and the time I will wait before showering, but it's always applied perfectly. The tan is flawless, she's truly a pro at what she does. The best spray tan service I've ever had. The only thing I hate is having to pay for parking and walking through the salon awkwardly as I'm not a salon patron and having to go upstairs to the back rooms. Loved this place! Flew into Miami beach to celebrate my birthday with a group of girlfriends and decided that I desperately needed a tan before hitting the beach. Afterall, it's Miami and there should be rows of tanning salons everywhere right? Apparently not. Who would have thought there were only 2 tanning salons within a 5 mile radius from my hotel (we stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel, which was awesome). Fabiola was super friendly and did a great job giving us the perfect shade. Quick and professional while making us feel at completely at ease with no clothes on. It was one of my gf's first time tanning and she loved it so much and regrets not having done it in the past. It's not cheap but after seeing her "wall of fame" of reviews on popular magazines and celebrities autographs, I was convinced it was a reasonable deal. Fabiola even told us that Kim Kardashian was at the salon the day before filming for the new season of her reality show. I don't really get why Kim Kardashian needs a tan, but hey, at least the place is trusted by celebrities that can pick any place they want to go, but chose to come here. read more

AMAZING. Was in Miami visiting a friend and needed a tan, I always get airbrushed in LA so my standards are pretty high when it comes to finding the right place. There aren't a lot of options in South Beach for airbrush tanning, so I relied on finding the best option possible via yelp. Sobe tan doesn't have very many reviews but all of the reviews are 5 stars so I trusted that it would be a top notch place! Of course it was!! Tan was flawless, and the color was amazing. Nothing compares to a personal spray tan by an actual human being. How could a machine spray every person(all different shapes and sizes) perfect? It CANT! Fabiola and her staff are so wonderful and they do an absolutely amazing job. Want sprayed on abs? They've got you covered. Some peppermint tea while you wait for the rain to stop(since you just got a spray tan and can't go in the rain)? They've got all sorts of teas! I love this place. If you don't feel your spray tan is absolutely perfect(which it always is!) you can come back the next day and they'll fix ya right up(not Ross from Friends style). I got a last-minute spray tan for my sister's wedding, and it ended up being a lot better than I was expecting. I was a little concerned by the look of the website, but I didn't want to be pale and ugly so went for it anyway. I had a hard time finding it at first because its in the Anatomy building. I also got no instructions beforehand and no guidance of what to do/what not to do or wear, so was even more skeptical. When I went upstairs, no one greeted me and I was very confused and then found the little room to get sprayed in and the woman gave me very little instructions and just went for it. The spray tan was still wet when I left and looked SO dark even though I got the light one and I was freaking out. I couldn't touch myself or carry a bag or anything and I walked out doing the frankenstein walk to be sure not to touch myself and mess it up. I got the fast dry one and showered in two hours rather than the recommended three because it was looking so dark and weird under my armpits and I was very nervous I had done something horrible. After I showered, though, a TON came off and it ended up looking very natural. One of my legs got streaky and weird, but I was wearing a long dress so it didn't matter. read more

Fabiola is an artist. She is a true professional, and knows exactly how to get the best results. My friend was nervous about standing naked getting sprayed, but Fabiola is so disarming my friend was totally comfortable. When she is working, you can tell she is totally in the zone, blotting where necessary and telling you how to move. Fabiola told us the tan would last over a week and I was skeptical, especially with a massage and sweaty yoga on the schedule. In the past I've had massages completely ruin a spray tan, but hers stayed put! I also took several sweaty classes and got a pedicure with a scrub, and still looked bronze. It didn't smell or run (thanks to her instructions) and I've received many compliments on how natural it looks.
