OMG!!! All I can say... okay, I'll say a few more things. BEST custom airbrush tan EVER! I was nervous to pick a place while in town for events and photoshoots. From the outside, the building is unassuming and quite, but these folks are busy and booked back to back, so leave yourself sufficient time to park and call up for access. As we, were there for Miami Swim Week, unbeknownst to us, we picked the salon that was spraying all the models for the swim shows. I was in a CRUNCH when I frantically called this girl.. like the heavy panting, panicky feeling had already set in -- I had been calling place after place but no one was picking up. Luckily for me, Fay answers at 10pm to invite me into her home ! She encouraged me to bring my boyfriend so I'd be more comfortable, and was so so accommodating. The Valet Tan experience was above & beyond any of the hand spray tans, stationary & mobile, I've had in the past 7-8 years from Palm Beach, NYC, Miami, Tallahassee, etc. A healthy alternative to fake baking, I was blown away when Fay told me her solution was organic and vegan ! Before I even realized, I was naked and getting prepped for the best spray tan of my life !! It went SO smoothly, she literally did EVERYTHING for me without one split second of hesitation or awkwardness. Other companies glob lotion into your hands, leaving you to awkwardly (& nakedly) prep yourself. Instead she put the stick on pads to my feet, lotioned my fingernails, toenails, palms and even prepped my knees and elbows... LITERALLY NO ONE DOES THAT. Even the $200 spray girls in Palm Beach don't provide effortless service like she did-- it sounds funny, but she's so graceful and makes it look SO easy. It makes sense that photographers, models and local celebs won't go to anyone but her. Quickly evident that Fay's an expert; she lead me into each pose so fluidly, and consulted with me to deliver the BEST contouring I've ever gotten from a spray (my chest, derrière and stomach were my concerns). I kept waiting for that awful gush of freezing air, but she never did THANK GOODNESS !! The best part was that as she sprayed me, when it was drying she used multiple brushes & sponges to give me the PERFECT texture. Within the next hour I was already glowing. I looked so natural and blended that I went out that night-- didn't have ANY streaking, smudging, or weird droplets on my hair; I was so amazed. I slept on my tan, showered in the morning and was on my merry way. My tan kept deep color for the next 5-6 days, AND I didn't smell (my boyfriend is so used to me being sprayed, he even noticed the difference). Definitely a long spray life, but I was even MORE shocked when I noticed that its fading was so gradual and even. Other (VERY expensive) company's color fades away in those weird patches, but that never happened with this. Valet Tan gave me a couture experience and for not even half the price I would have paid for a rushed, mediocre color. I most definitely will not go to anyone ever again after having found Fay. This was my first time being airbrushed, in the past I have tried traditional tanning beds (cancer city) and mystic tan (so uneven) I was really excited to try this after hearing about it at my nail salon. I went to Miami for birthday/bachelorette party and did not have to time to spray tan before my trip. I'm pale as can be so 1) I needed some color 2) spray tans tend to prevent me from getting badly burned. I frantically searched for spray tanning salons as soon as I got to my hotel. I booked for the very next morning. My tan was perfection! I got the express and let the tan sit for 3.5 hours. I washed off the excess and had a FLAWLESS tan. And the best part was it LASTED! Now, a exactly a week later, the tan is slowly washing away. But not in that gross blotchy/obviously fake tan sort of way. Everything is still very even. The whole experience was very professional, thoughtful, and friendly. I loved how the owner applied the gel/lotion on the areas that don't need to be sprayed (elbows/toes/etc.). She actually spent time drying my spray tan (this detail is fairly unusual and makes all the difference) and dusted this delicious smelling powder to set everything. I used Valet Tans for the first time a few weeks ago. I just moved back to Miami after living in Boston for 4 years, so I had no idea where to go for a good, streak-free, natural-looking spray tan. I found the number for Valet Tans and saw that it had good reviews, so I figured I would give it a shot. I'm SO GLAD I did! I called on a Tuesday and thought I was going to have to beg for a next day appointment - not the case at all! Fay was super nice and really professional. She had no problems making time for me to come to her for a spray tan the next day. Valet Tans is a mobile company, so she will either go to your home, for your convenience, or she allows you to go to her home instead. I went to her home and she immediately made me feel very comfortable. Usually it can be a bit awkward getting naked for a stranger to spray you, but it was really easy and not awkward at all. Fay is GREAT at what she does. She knew exactly how many layers to spray on my skin to give me a good natural glow WITHOUT giving me that orange oompa-loompa look that we are all so fond of. Before I left, Fay gave me instructions on how to maintain and preserve the spray tan, which really worked. The tan lasted a pretty long time and I didn't even realize when it faded. Usually spray tans tend to get blotchy or peely towards the end, but since I followed her instructions, there was none of that this time. The whole process was so convenient, I was shocked at how quickly I was in and out of there - with a perfect tan!
