During the my week long stay in Santa Ponsa we had lunch at the different eateries at The Santa Ponsa Square. Main reason for switching everyday was that in general the food was uninspiring and pretty sad. I felt that most places would qualify under the tourist trap category.
On our last day we sat down at Miami and this was our best lunch in Santa Ponsa. We had a selection of tapas: Gambas Pil-Pil, Frito Mallorquin and Almejas a la Plancha, all washed down with 1/2 litre of Sangria.
We enjoyed all three tapas, my personal fave were the Almejas (clams) but that is probably personal preference, since I really love clams in general , the other dishes were also well seasoned and all tasted really good. I really wish we had come here earlier as I do want to try the other food on the menu. In addition, the service was super friendly and prompt.
After eating at all the other tourist places this was a refreshing experience and I would certainly go back when in Santa Ponsa. read more
