I had such an amazing experience with Miami Helicopter! The employees were all very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The GPS was unable to find them but the airport signage was easy and able to guide us with no issues. Over the phone they were very helpful and patient will all of my questions. We got there later in the day and because we were the last to arrive we were lucky enough to have a private tour, the pilot was also a pleasure and the views/experience was amazing. I will mention I was unaware you had to share the helicopter with a number of strangers and if you were unlucky enough to sit in the middle you basically were stuck with no view and probably very uncomfortable. I think that is something they need to include somewhere because I would have been a bit unhappy about that. Fortunately for me it was my birthday and we lucked out with the last tour of the day and did not have to share the helicopter with anyone. It was most definitely one of the highlights of my birthday! This is a must if you are in Miami! read more

We enjoyed our first ride! The weather wasn't so good, but we viewed a lot of interesting buildings. Overall, the experience was great!

Great for the family. We took our 5yo and he loved. If you find a Groupon, buy for each passenger and then call to make reservation. My newborn did well and rode on my lap for free. We did the beach tour for 20 mins. Some others complain that they had to ride with strangers but the heli fits 4 riders and if they have 2 couples then I guess u could but call to find out if others booked before you. We were 3 so the chances of a single rider were slim. We also rode on a Friday. To find location: keep going straight until the end and they will b on the right and they have their own parking lot. They allow cams inside heli but not on tarmac bc they take pics and at the end they sell them to u in USB stick and a big printout. The prices of pics are reasonable; $35 for the stick and $50 for printed pic and USB. We say no to every redic pic offer after a ride but this was great. Staff is very friendly. There are several women who answer the phone and they answered all my questions. Pilot was very nice and tour informative and we are locals. You can tip pilot at front desk after flight. They Mahe us wait for 3 hours only to tell us we can't take flight due to the weather and we will be refunded upon request (No problem! We understood) After going through their (honestly, unnecessary) forms and procedures, multiple follow ups, calls, emails, voice mails, the whole nine! I still have no reply, no communication and most importantly NO REFUND! They stole my money. Please save yours and go with another company. I went on Helicopter tour in December 2019 and it was amazing. The view was perfect. But there is one thing that disappointed me. Before flight the guy who works for this company made two photos of me in front of the Helicopter. I needed to pay extra 35$ because I wanted those photos. I was on doors-off Helicopeter Tour and I paid for that 335$+35$ after flight for those two photos. 1. If I pay 35$ for photos, I expect a photo session, because it is really expensive for only two photos. 2. My opinion is that sending two photos to my mobile phone should be included in price because it is already really expensive. It is 21st century and sending photos to someone's mobile phone does not cost anything. Do not make a fool of people when they buy a photo. If it is necessary make prices a little bit higher than now but do not charge extra 35$ for photos (for nothing). read more

Randomly decided I wanted to go on a helicopter tour and began searching for a place around me to do just that. I came across Miami Helicopter on Groupon along with a few other places in the area but choose Miami Helicopter after reading the nearly perfect reviews they had. I can honesty say they couldn't have changed a single thing, friendly/professional customer service, new/well kept helicopters and friendly/knowledge pilots. Not to mention I picked the absolute perfect day for "The Grand Miami Tour" which I some how got an awesome deal (only paid $120, originally $195) so worth it!! I would go again. What a fun experience! If you are looking for something excited and out of the box to do in Miami this is a great option! It was such a beautiful trip. I got to see a lot of parts of Miami that I would not have been able to see otherwise. I did not have to share a helicopter with anyone which was nice. Our guide was super informative and funny. The location is a little out there so I do recommend having transportation to get there. We did not have to wait very long to go on our tour. It was pretty exciting ride too! Unable to Get into the Air with Miami Helicopter Tours With our reservation made for The Grand Miami Helicopter Tour at 12:00, we check in at 11:15. After a brief safety video, we were told to sit in their waiting room. After 20 minutes they take a group of guests to the helicopter, no word of them running behind schedule. Another 20 minutes pass by, with no word from the employees. They are yelling at each other and putting stickers up on the walls, no regard for proper customer service. The helicopter lands, passengers disembark, with no update from the staff. The pilot passes through the room, again no word. By this time it is 12:25, and they take yet another group of people before us. By this point, we are frustrated and beyond done with this company. We walk up to their desk and ask when our tour will start. The employee said that's it's 12:00 and they'll be with us shortly. Again, by this time it was 12:25. Not only do they lack proper time telling skills, but their customer service leaves much to be desired. They ensured us we are on the next tour, which was due to start at 12:40, 40 minutes after we were scheduled to be up in the air. As anyone is while on vacation, we have things to do and other places to see and experience. We wasted an hour on this company when we could have been enjoying other things beautiful Miami has to offer. We asked for a refund due to their lack of communication and their tours running behind schedule, and they did not give us a refund on the spot for this awful experience. We have yet to see if they provide us with a refund after we fill out a form. It's worrying; if this is the way their front of house operations, it's indicative of how their back of house operates. I don't know what kind of management would allow this kind of behavior. Their lack of customer service, lack of communication with guests, unprofessional communication amongst each other ensured we will never use this company again, and I will tell everyone I meet and speak to stay away from this awful company. I am deeply disturbed that I am having to write this review but I honestly feel that sharing this story will be very helpful to others in the future who are planning on buying a helicopter ride here. I had a family emergency which lead to a fatal accident concerning my aunt. I was very excited for my ride but with the circumstances I had to see if I could get it rescheduled and as soon as I emailed them there response was a no. I am only giving this 2 stars because the staff and pilot were friendly. My fiance bought me this tour as a birthday present a few months back. All of the staff failed to mention that we would be sharing the (small) helicopter with other people. It wasn't until it was our turn to go that someone told us we would be sharing the helicopter with another couple. And it wasn't until we got to the helicopter that they decided where to seat us. My fiance was placed in the front of the helicopter with the pilot (she had a great view). I was placed in the back middle seat between another couple. Keep in mind this was a gift for me. Also, the helicopter is so loud at this point that you cannot speak with anyone about where you are sitting. Not that this is supposed to be an extremely romantic experience, but it would be nice to have been able to sit with the person I came with and who bought me the tour. The middle seat had the worst view, including a pole directly in front of me. The views out of the side windows were extremely obstructed by the people to my left and right taking pictures. I had very little room to sit and little leg room. I couldn't even lift my head all the way without hitting it on the lower roof above me. I understand there are weight restrictions, but it would've been nice if they had at least sat me behind my fiance or mentioned something to us before we boarded. My fiance had great views but was also really bummed she could not sit with me. read more
