Great place for smoked meat. I think one the best in Montreal to my tasting. Welcoming stuff , decor is weird but food was delicious. Took the lunch special , a soup followed by a main dish (lI took the smoked meat plate with Caesar salad replacing the fries) . Generous portion , well presented and prepared to my liking. Very descent price for the quality . Highly recommended especially for smoked meat.

Love this place! I've been ordering take out for a while now and no matter what I try, it's always delicious. I love comfort food and classic staples, so a good poutine, club sandwich, gyro, smoked meat or pizza for example are excellent choices. The menu selection is huge, delivery is fast and portions are large too. This place is open 24 hours but does not deliver 24 hours, so just be aware if you are hungry in the middle of the night. One of my favorite items is the "chinese chicken fried rice". It's not really chinese food, but it's awesome. There are big chunks of chicken, tomatoes, and green onions which make it super flavorful. For around 10$, it's plenty enough for a meal or to share as many sides. I recently went for breakfast and was not disappointed either. I had their "miami omelette" which again was very generous with the toppings and portion. Compared to other breakfast chains, I feel like I'm getting my money's worth here. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the price of their pizzas. I wish I could make this my go to place for pizzas, but their prices are a little steep. There are numerous joints offering 2 for 1 type deals, but almost every pizza at Miami Deli is 20$ or upwards for just one. Worth a visit, there's something for everyone!

Weird mozzarella stick sides with no sauce

Ordered delivery from there tonight. Good, tasty, a ton of fries (more than I can eat but my roommate is going to be a happy man because of it) and well cooked chicken. My only complaint, which is a fairly big one, is that I ordered mozzarella sticks for 6,95 and they arrived cold, hard and were somehow accompanied with a piece of banana, cantaloupe, and orange. Having mozzarella sticks that taste like orange was not enjoyable whatsoever and just really bizarre. I wouldn't have ordered them had I known. Quick delivery, the guy was really nice.

When you walk in you will be taken back to Miami in the 80's. This dive of a spot actually has great Greek food. We had the chicken dish and it was amazing. They also have freshly squeezed OJ. It's not a Michelin star restaurant but a cozy diner with condom dispensers. It is what it is, if you catch yourself walking in a shady neighborhood on the way to the botanical garden stop by.

Where to begin. This establishment is all around AMAZING!!! All the staff are friendly, outgoing,…read moreattentive, and really know their craft. I thought I had pre-booked a reservation, and we were running late. Parking in this area can be a trick. I dropped my wife off and continued to locate parking. She contacted me and said there was no reservation. I panicked as I parked my truck and sifted through my emails for a confirmation. I hustled the 0.4 miles back to her. When I went in the hostess said it wouldn't be a problem and brought us to a table. My wife later told me she was offered tea while she waited. The waiter was on spot. He knew their menu and provided us with his insights. All the food was Devine. Beautifully laid out and brought out each course in the perfect time. My wife loved the hibachi, she doesn't eat much in general and I do most of the cooking at home. She couldn't get enough of putting items in the hibachi and moving them around. Guess I need a hibachi at home lol. Also my wife is 86 pounds, so she gets cold easy. The hibachi was the perfect personal heater too!! We had a great time together. The ambiance had that perfect Japanese appeal, while still modern. I used to live in Japan so I can be skeptical when it comes to Japanese flair & food. This establishment did not disappoint. So if you are in Montreal, I highly recommend giving this place a go. Side note, pricing is very reasonable considering what is included in packages. And the Saki I had was delicious and looking it up for the going rate they make around $5 per bottle based on what they sell it for and market retail price (place around the corner up charges 110%). So you are more than getting what you pay for in my opinion. And sometimes you just cannot put a price on excellent service! We will definitely be returning when we venture. To Montreal again.

The spring rolls taste like the frozen veggie ones from Asian supermarkets. The salad and rice were also nothing special. However, the for value it's not bad. We got the premium set for 2, which was $120 (tax & tip included). For anyone that's not a big eater, it's a good alternative to gyubee. Service was very attentive although the kitchen was quite slow. Our appetizers came 1 hour after our meats arrived, which was a bit strange. Ambiance is a bit cold since the tables are so close to the doors, so we constantly felt a gust of cold air during our visit.

No more wonderful steak Philly on the Friday. Most of what was offered on that daily menu is permanently gone. They added many different poutine that actually existed before but part of a secret menu you could learn from their social network page. Some starter too. They change the recipe of some of the food. The Mac N cheese is now more creamier and the cheese is more present and flavourful. I never had it by itself, but in the poutine Mac TeX, it's a miss for me. It used to be the poutine I always take when I go there, poutine Mac TeX. Tried it 4 times already since the switch, always the same and I don't like it unfortunately. Maybe others don't. From the post they made on Instagram stating that it was now creamier due to popular demand, I guess that's how people like it. But I think people was taking it by itself and not into a poutine (I never see much people eating a mac te when I'm there). Also the new Mac N cheese on the Mac TeX make it you taste nothing except the creamy liquid cheese from the Mac N cheese, nothing else. I normally add the homemade steak sauce available on the table in the poutine and when I tried it with the new recipe, it wasn't good. I also trie the dirty Poutine. I totally forgot what it is. There's like 2 sauce, I think it's meat sauce? Sorry I really forget. It was good, but about half way through, I was done with the taste just like the current Mac TeX. I still finished it though. Again, it's not bad, everyone has different taste and I started by liking it. I had the same experience when eating the smashburger poutine after eating a smash burger. Don't do it, take either one, not both unless your really into the taste of smashburger cause that's the only thing you taste. Last time I went, I took again the smashburger double cheese and bacon, a must for me, and I took a regular poutine. First time in what, 2 years and at least 30 visit that I take the regular one. It was good. I do miss my og Mac TeX but it's a good replacement. The bonus is it cost about 10$ less and fill less, so I was able to take something off the desert menu for the first time. I toon the chocolate cake and it was very good. The service is always good when I go there. It might be a bit a miss when it's overbooked specially if your table is hidden In a corner (happened a bit in the past). The only reason I bring from 5 to 4 stars is only because I prefered the old menu and old recipe. I did talk to a staff last time about the Mac TeX recipe and was told sometime it's because of new chef. I guess he wasn't aware that the recipe actually change, he did seemed new since I hadn't seen him before. I'll talk to jack or one of the owner last time, not to bad mouth, simply to have feedback from customer on the menu.
