There's really a lot of different offering from pasta, pizza, burger, steak, chicken and lots more. They also have many signature cheesecakes, cakes and other desert options. There's also a kid menu which have very good options. I've tried many things over the past years and I've yet to find something I don't like. My favorites is the burger Saint-Louis. It's a BBQ burger which oignon strings, special mayo, bacon and cheese. It come with choice of 2 sides where I always take fries and chili. The chili isn't a hot bean chili. It's a small black bean chili with cheese on top that is very good. I often take the mac and cheese balls as a starter. It's 3 small mac n cheese balls with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. It's very good. They could make a meal out of these (although I think it would cost a lot since it's still more than 10$ for 3 small mac n cheese balls). All in all, I highly recommend it. The staff is very nice too, service is very good and I've never had a bad time. You can order take out or one of the many Uber eat and stuff delivery services. It is a loud place, much like any big restaurant. The bar nearly always have places and you can eat at the bar. So if you don't feel like waiting, this can be a great option that I took often.

To compensate the eternal waiting and as forgiveness they gimme some cheesecake on the house but still very disappointed from how long I had to wait . We also got a sangria pitcher was very good . So overall a quite good place not gonna lie and maybe I'd consider coming back but really still is a bummer waiting very time . We got seated at the patio, offering a view of the streets, which was nice but not extraordinary. The highlight, however, were the drinks--they were so good that we ended up ordering more than planned. Definitely recommend trying a variety of them. The food was mixed. The pizza was somewhat disappointing; the base wasn't very well-developed, and while the toppings were flavorful, they were a bit overwhelming. The salmon tartare, on the other hand, was enjoyable with a good flavor, and the accompanying bread nicely contrasted the texture. The warm brie, topped with honey and glazed walnuts, was a delightful sweet appetizer. Overall, Zibo is worth checking out if you're in Montreal and looking for a pleasant, quiet dinner with some fantastic drinks.

Love grabbing sandwiches or pizzas from here when I'm in the area. They have a large selection to choose from of unique Persian style sandwiches. Items are wrapped very well so you can just grab and go. A must to try!

Our server was kind and patient. My only small complaint was that our food did take longer than expected especially since they weren't busy at all when we came in and then they forgot the jalapeños we requested be added on our pizza so it took longer to make the correction. But we had a nice meal and I'd recommend it!

Club sandwich kinds of diners in Montreal - 1 of 2…read more I found Restaurant Lafayette as a side effect of going to look for Troisieme Tasse coffeehouse about a block away from Metro Papineau. Troisieme Tasse's locale appeared to be empty and had leasing signs on its vitrines. As I walked back to the Metro realizing I needed to get coffee elsewhere, I saw Lafayette unobtrusively occupying a corner and almost directly across from the Metro station. I filed it away in my head to look it up and see what they had to offer. Lafayette checked out just fine on review sites, so I went in to eat lunch another day. As you walk in, it's a little long in the tooth, but that adds some character to Lafayette. It has the big booths and, as a bonus, its sitting on a corner allows it to have many booths next to windows. It looked like there was quite a bit to choose from, so it could have been that I was overwhelmed. That said, I settled on a club sandwich and a soft drink. I sure have eaten a lot of club sandwiches in the province of Quebec, with all of them being plentiful and satisfying. I've eaten them in Montreal, in Quebec City, and even smack in between the two in Trois-Rivieres. In fact, there used to be a place called Le Club Sandwich about a block or so west of Papineau for which the site, complete with the tacky building occupying it, has given way to gentrification. Lafayette has a good feel ... sort of like a worn and comfortable shoe. The service was also "comfortable," for lack of a better word, but not at all worn, or world weary. By this I mean that it was informal and good-natured, almost as if in a small town. The prices were in the ballpark for this genre and for having an in-town Montreal location close to the city center. The club sandwich was very good. I was very happy with that choice - almost always safe and almost always tasty and filling. Restaurant Lafayette has been around a long time and local folks as regulars is a good sign. I would eat here again and, with a location between Centre-Ville and the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and being so close to a Metro station, it would make it even more likely.

Miami Deli removes you from the concrete Montreal streets and plunges you into a tropical eatery, which gave me flashbacks to restaurants in Acapluco in the 90s. The dishes are big, so watch out for those hungry eyes; they may betray you. As vast as the food can get, their kitchen is not as memorable. I had some fried calamari and a fish filet with almonds. The calamari were not different from the ones you can get in a pub. The fish was decent and saved the day. I would say that this place must be good for having drunk or hangover food. The service and quantity will make you happy. Their kitchen, not so much. I recommend it but with a grain of salt.

I haven't seen that at a fast service restaurant in years. The line is like other similar restaurants. Then the grill guy adds your chicken last. Lots of gluten-free options. The food was very tasty. The toppings guy suggested the tzatziki and I'm so glad he did. It was really good.
