I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience for the sake of other parents. This studio deeply disappointing. It is poorly run, lacks organization, and operates far below the standard families should expect. There are several other reviews describing similar behavior, which unfortunately confirms this is not an isolated incident. What was most concerning was my direct interaction with ownership. A simple, respectful question was met with a surprisingly aggressive and condescending response. The conversation began calmly, yet quickly escalated into a verbal reprimand directed at me in the lobby, in front of other parents. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and frankly embarrassing behavior for anyone representing a children's business. Equally troubling is the lack of basic safety structure. There is no clear system in place to ensure children are properly supervised or accounted for, which should be non-negotiable. There are far more reputable options in Miami. I would strongly encourage parents to think carefully before enrolling here. read more

Great dance studios! Great teachers, this is a place where you know your children are always taken care off. Studio provides an area for students to complete homework during their break, has a cafe for students to get a bite to eat and not have to leave studio. My daughter loves it here it's our 2nd home. It's a great family atmosphere! Best of all the schedule is great, my daughter dances Mon - Thurs with enough time to enjoy her weekend and be a kid. This studio has great teachers that serve as role models. They are involved in the community and giving back. During hurricane Irma studio did collection for displaced residents. Every year the studio can be found volunteering for the Breanna Vergara Foundation 5k. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who has a child who is interested in dancing. read more

This is home. I have been lucky enough to be a part of the Miami Dancity Studios family since it first opened its doors in 2008. Since then I not only grew as a dancer but as a young woman as well. I was given some of the best training out there in regards to dance and was surrounded by some of the best role models a young girl could ever have. While dance was always a main focus at the studio, the bonds and memories that were created amongst all of the dancers, teachers, and families are ones that will be cherished for a lifetime. Now as a young adult working in the field, I have the opportunity to give my students at MDS the same love and strong technique that I was given for 6 years. What separates this studio from the rest is that strong family bond that is felt from the moment you walk through the door. Teachers, staff, and even the parents and grandparents are always ready and willing to help all of the dancers whenever they need an extra hand. Been waiting a while to post this review, but I am on a role and I am sick to my stomach of all the greedy, uncompassionate, business owners in our town and if I can't prevent one person from doing business with this studio, I will feel I have done my part in preventing anyone to get bullied and stolen from. Grand theft!!!! Right? when it is over $1,000.00? Well, let me tell you that is what "Ivonne" the owner stoled from me in merchandise paid for well in advance. 3 costumes, numerous bags and accessories, etc....of course I have all my receipts but 5 months later trying to recover the rest of my paid merchandise, promised to me, the owner emails me and Ivonne's excuse was that I had left the studio, and I had signed a contract which stated that I was not entitled to any of it. Mind you 5 months prior I had picked up my daughter's warm up suit and costumes were not delivered according the secretary. Technically, the contract states any fees paid for choreography, classes, recital fees etc. and any costumes with BALANCES OWED, added by the designer -I asked my friends at the studio that if those same costumes that they had purchased were more than $200 a piece as I had paid in full and of course they confirmed to me that they paid exactly what I had paid.. I really don't have any use for the costumes (maybe try selling them to recover something) but it is a matter of principle, that these business owners, knowing that I am a single mother, a true patron for many years, and that they STEAL from a little girl and her mother. Highly recommend this studio for families looking for a safe loving dance environment for their child! It is truly a family environment, every teacher believes in the kids full ability! We are blessed to have our girls there and couldn't think of a better place to take our children. read more

MONEY HUNGRY OWNER! Zero stars would be better. Oh and if you're not Cuban your money is accepted but you'll never be treated nicely. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. My inlaws spent over $700 a month but were never informed of cancellations and would lose money on private classes while all the other moms would say "oh but they let me know." The owner and co-owner (her daughter) were never on the same page. Nightmare. read more
