Dr. Abreu explains things to us in detail, she patiently listens to our concerns and questions, she makes you feel like family. Dr. Abreu is supportive of our dynamic when caring for our baby but offers her recommendations. She never rushes us during our appointments and is willing to look at photos we've taken of our baby for concerns or listen to any behavioral activity we weren't sure of. The security guard was a little rude though but that's sometimes to be expected. On the 4th floor where the sports medicine office is, the two young ladies that were present were very nice. They were very attentive. One was actually training the other on how to check in patients in her absence (I assume) as they worked for two different doctors. The inside is almost set up like a hospital floor. You have the "nurses station" in the middle and the surrounding rooms. I suppose that that is where they do their charting after every patient or maybe they have their own offices. Overall I think this is a great location and the view is even better.

She did not perform what I felt was a thorough examination of my daughter, and her manner toward us was lacking in compassion and respect. Because I was not confident in the care my daughter was receiving, I left and took her directly to the emergency room. There, the hospital staff properly evaluated her condition, treated her and resolved the issue. While I am grateful for Dr. Alvarez and the care he provides, this experience with the PA was extremely disappointing.
