It was decorated to the nines with large over sized serial killer heard cut outs. Creepy but the perfect weekend for such eerie dance parties. In the summer there was a super interesting art show related to the Comic Arts Brooklyn (CAB). It was packed but the bar is in the front room and there's a pretty good sized patio. The holidays brought a number of cool craft and art fairs. I attended the prints fair. Where I was lured by the hand cranked printed tees by Hardwick Prints. There was even a t shirt with one of my favorite bands "the Gun Club". I had to have it! It was a handmade work of art that I absolutely loved taking home and couldn't wait to wear out. I also came for the "The Betty's Holiday and Art Market". It was jam packed in the second room with vendors. A perfect spot to find unique gifts for those hard to shop for people on your list. The bar was also playing Gremlins in their tv. A huge favorite of mine. Looking at my calendar it looks like there are some punk shows on the horizon. This is a great edition to Bushwick and super reflective of the art scene that continues in the neighborhood.

I've attended Make Every Drink workshop here and it was nice. We were 5 in the class and we were…read moretaking turns to make the drinks but we had a chance to taste all of them. The studio is on the third floor and there is no sign outside of the main door. Just ring the bill and make your way up there. They gave us certificates at the end of the workshop and it took us 30 minutes more to go over everything as some of us were a bit late. I hope they can do the workshops in the afternoon instead of in the morning. It was a nice experience after all.

The grounds and the areas inside that we have visited are very clean and comfortable. There's a lot of food choices in the neighborhood and easy access to public transportation. It's close to our home so we walk. If you have children I recommend you look into the activities. You may want to plan for your children to attend when they reach the age range for Middle School.

The food was good, the portion sizes weren't big but were just right. The wings are not jumbo and the Truffle fries need to be tweaked, maybe change the recipe or call it fries with Parmesan cheese. As far as the drinks, the cocktail pouches were a hit. We had 2 each including two additional shots. This place is good for a happy hour, lunch, brunch, date, chill spot, etc. The views of the city were great, it's social media friendly with a lot of picture opportunities, they also have jumbo games such as Jenga, Connect Four and Cards. It's more of a drink and socialize place. Again we LOVED it, because it was a change of scenery for us. The downside is that there is no restroom within the restaurant. You have to walk outside the restaurant to the end of the dock to use the public restrooms which normally has a very long line. This isn't ideal. Overall great experience. The campus is spread over two block and is near the Pratt institute campus. My impression of this college is very positive. Plus- Small school, personal attention, small classes. 90% of the student body are commuters. Neighbor is historical- Clinton Hill. School is close to the city. The tuition is reasonable for a private school. The story is acessible by subway (G-train) and buses on Mytle Ave. and Dekalb Ave. (This review is from the view poinr of a parent with a college bound child.)

The library and classrooms need a huge makeover because everything looks like a public primary school. 13 block walk from Dekalb ave station. The people are nice, but the school isn't organized. Being a non-matriculated student here, I did not get on the right foot in. I do not take classes physically here but the problems I had to encounter do not make me want to take any in the future. I was charged for a $716 mandatory insurance because I was "placed" on a list with the matriculated students. And I didn't get any prior physical mail until an invoice came to my doorstop. The problem was taken care of, but they need better correspondence to their students before giving students private information to companies without the students consent. Yes, this school is in a historic area, but hey, this is the 21st century and you are in NYC, upgrade please!
