I will definitely be coming back to get recertified by CPR Genius when mine expires in 2 years. -The class was socially distanced and COVID-19 safe. -All the CPR mannequins are equipped with visual feedback via Bluetooth so you can see if you've compressed incorrectly, or given too much breath etc. -Also all the CPR mannequins were non-white, which was inclusive and you love to see that in NYC. -Reggie gave incredibly helpful feedback to each person in the class, and encouraged us so that we all improved our accuracy by the end.

I have been trying to schedule a WSI Prep-Course with the NYC location for a month with numerous emails and phone calls. The correspondence via email has been brief and gives insufficient information. After repeated back and forth I was scheduled for the Prep-Course but it was cancelled the day before due to pool maintenance (which I assume was a last minute situation out of their control and understandable). When I was finally able to reschedule I was offered today, I accepted but didn't get any details regarding where to go or what to bring or confirmation that they received my acceptance. The morning of the class I got an email 4 hours before asking if I could do a different day without any details as to why. I responded when I woke up 1 hour later explaining my WSI course started in 1 week and RE-stated that weekdays don't work because of my job (which I had already told them multiple times.). I tried calling to confirm that I could still attend because my commute to the pool was over an hour. I got no response via email or phone so I decided to go to the pool because I needed an answer and my employer paid for this course and I don't want to fail due to not being prepared. In route I called and spoke to a man from another location who said no one else was registered for the course, he apologized for the fact that I received a confusing email the day of my course but wasn't able to confirm one way or another because he isn't at the NYC location but that he would try and get ahold of their manager and get back to me. I arrived at the pool before getting a call back. No supervisor was there, an instructor teaching a different course suggested I call and email but that he couldn't help because he doesn't do the course I need and had his own course at this time. Bottom line - the communication and customer service needs to improve. It has been incredibly frustrating and I am at a loss for next steps.

In the past few years, I've sent my 5-year-old to numerous "group" swim classes at discount prices and although she became more comfortable in the water, she never really learned to swim - more than a doggy paddle. After only 5 one-on-one classes with Karina, my daughter is truly swimming for the first time (strokes and all!) and loving it! Karina has so much knowledge, kindness and patience and my daughter absolutely loves her and loves her lessons. It's obvious that both Karina and Amaury truly love to teach AND truly love children. That combination is priceless. I cannot say enough good things about Karina and Amaury. Run - don't walk to their swim classes. I assure you, you will be as amazed and delighted as I am!

He will call you out and try to pop quiz you in front of already certified nurses. The biggest test in any career is Humanity. It does matter how much you know or how much you can remember because people can always learn something new. Its about how you treat other humans. Thats the biggest test of it all. The best thing about whatever career you choose is that you learn from the people around you but you should never make someone feel bad for what they don't know. Everything can be taught but something as simple as being a great person comes from within.
