I graduated from MAC in 2021, and I am eternally grateful to have been part of the MAC family.

The best part is the demos where the instructors create real drinks to sample and you learn real mixology! Other schools in this area use outdated curriculums and don't bother to improve their product. Its a lot of information in 2 weeks so the key to doing well is to study. Sometimes it's great, sometimes not so much. Of course once that is taken care of, then comes the biggest source of my headaches, my dam hair! In comes Groupon and Blush Lounge. I purchased he infamous groupon which included a make-up and hair class. I went all out. And I will admit it was worth the investment. The class allows you to test your skills and then have the "teacher" correct it. The hair class also gives you great tips for doing your hair differently. I'd do it again. Also love the feel of the studio, makes you feel so glamorous!

I…read morebelieve I have my night time look down pat, but I have never been able to pull off a proper smoky eye. I've tried countless times, and yet, it never comes out right. A friend of mine knew about my plight and found a Groupon that was offering makeup lessons at Blush Lounge. I immediately jumped at the opportunity and made an appointment for later in the week. The building that Blush Lounge resides in is an old warehouse in Wynwood and it was a bit confusing to get inside. Another person arrived for the class at the same time that I did and we both didn't know how to get inside the building because the intercom system did not seem to work. We knocked several times, but no one came to the door. I eventually called the number provided and that is when I spoke to someone and they let us in. We found the room for the class and it looked like a room for photo shoots. Half of the room was set up for modeling and the other half had mirrors and chairs for makeup. Our teacher introduced herself and asked us what type of makeup tricks we wanted to learn. It was unanimous that we all wanted to learn the smoky eye. The teacher did one eye, and we did the other eye on our own. The instructor was very nice and would assist us with any questions we asked. She also gave us tips on what type of makeup style would go well with our facial features. The class went really well and my eyes came out great! I feel much more confident about doing a smoky eye on my own for a night out on the town. I would recommend anyone to visit Blush Lounge if you are interested in learning how to do your makeup or do your makeup for a special occasion.

After all, who wouldn't enjoy singing and dancing for an hour! Ashlee encourages you to listen to the music at home and gives you ideas and tips for creating a fun musical experience outside of class. Since we've had our little girl enrolled she's expressing herself musically. She dances, claps and wiggles away whenever she hears a tune. I picked up a toy drum and piano that regularly take a beating. It's amazing to see her grow! I wish the cost was a bit less. It seems that all children's classes are expensive, whether it's this one, Gymboree, My Gym etc. However, given the impact it's had on our family I do plan on registering for another series. It's worth it. We love this place!

I understand emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen, but giving patients less than 24 hours notice after patients have already waited months is extremely frustrating and inconsiderate. What made the situation even worse was the communication. I called the number that texted me 3-4 times trying to get clarification and reschedule, and the phone kept getting picked up and hung up. I eventually had to call from a completely different number just to get someone to answer. That experience felt very unprofessional and added even more frustration to an already stressful situation. Patients arrange work schedules, transportation, childcare, and personal obligations around these appointments, so better communication and consideration would be appreciated. I am highly disappointed with the scheduling and front desk experience.
