3.5 stars rounded down to 3 because it wasn't quite 4 stars. Cantina Bravo was recommended to us,…read moreso we decided to try it out. It's a nice restaurant with more tables than you'd think by just looking at the outside. There weren't very many people in there when we visited around 6 pm on a Sunday evening. The service was pretty good. Our waitress checked on us a couple of times throughout our meal. The menu has denotations for "gluten free" and "vegetarian" which is helpful for someone like me who is gluten free. I appreciated that. The prices, I feel, have reflected the inflation that we are seeing currently. I don't feel like you get as much food for the amount you pay anymore. But it was good food. We did order a beef quesadilla for the kids meal and got a cheese, so that was a bummer. But he ate it anyway. I will say the corn tortillas are very good and the highlight of my meal! We do have a favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, so I'm not sure if we will return, but if I were going with friends, I wouldn't veto Cantina Bravo as an option.

Ambience is on point - you can tell they put a lot of work into the building as far as remodel and keep things very clean. Food and drink - FANTASTIC. Sometimes I feel like restaurants have good drinks or good food, but with Mi Torito you get both in one stop!

Let me caveat this review with - we were in town from LA (where authentic Mexican spots are…read moreeverywhere) visiting family, and I'm married to a Mexican. I specifically wanted Tex-Mex Mexican food, and this place hit the spot. It's not authentic Mexican food lol, but it's delicious! The prices were so good for the portions and quality. My toddler loved the robot that brought some of the food out. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh. The queso on everything was obvi my fav part (and is the most non-Mexican part of it all). The margarita tower was insane! It was around $32 and we got the mango one. I lost count of how many it poured, and we had 5 adults drinking on it, yet didn't finish it. We got at least 9 full cups out of it and there were 2-3 left when we left. If you're in the mood for some good Tex-Mex that's super cheap with big portions, this is your spot.
