    Store

Located on the east side of fort worth this small store packs a punch of flavor and tradition to everyone that visits. This store sells typical hispanic snacks and food along with popular hispanic brand food and drinks. IF you walk to the left as soon as you walk in there will be a small kiosk where they sell snacks like elote, mangonadas, fruit cups and duros preparados. Next to it you will find a small seating area with chairs and tables where you can sit and enjoy your food. Towards the back of the store, they have a butcher shop where you can order meat by the cut and pound. There is also a ready to order kiosk next to the butcher stop. On there you can order carnitas made ready to eat, pork rinds, barbacoa and other mexican dishes. If you rather just order tacos and tortas you can do that too here. Simply go to the left of the ready to eat kiosk and they have a menu on the side of the wall. The rest of the small space is well organized with cans of food and other things you might find in a grocery store, They even have a fresh produce and a pan dulce station here. Also a small section of imported goods like piggy banks made de adobe imported from Mexico. The staff is nice and friendly but you non-Spanish speaking people do not be afraid they all speak English ;) . Everyone is bilingual here! Oh and they also sell homemade guacamole that hits just the spot when all you are craving are chips and guac but dont wanna go to a sit-down restaurant and pig out ;) Anyways i really like this places, makes me feel like i am back home in Mexico with all the colorful pinatas hanging from the ceiling and with all the posters of famous athletes promoting sports drinks and seeing all the beautiful hand-painted murals really makes me proud of my heritage. Yall need to go and try it even if its just to get elote like i do on fridays haha.

Let's start this meat-ing by saying... 5 STARS all around!…read more Service: A Bunch of Southern Gentlemen! Ambiance: Clean with lots of seating inside and out. Food: Quality, quality, QUALITY! I'd like to try the whole menu, but I've only been twice. The first time, we grabbed their famous Double Standard Burger. Meaty & marvelous! The second time, I grabbed the House Salad with Chicken. Healthy! The third time, I grabbed TMB French Dip. FAVORITE ITEM thus far. (: All times, fries were had. They are crispy, well seasoned and pair to perfection with Heinz ketchup. Oh, and I can't forget the iced tea and lemonade! I made an Arnold Palmer with them... gamemaker for any lunchtime meal. :D Will I be going back? Hands down. I have more to try!!!

Update: My first review- My beef sandwich was delicious;…read morethe meat was so tender. My friend liked hers as well. I can't wait to go back. Second experience did not live up to my first experience. I came back with my husband. I tried the burger and he had the blt. The beef sandwich is better. I got the single patty. If you get the burger, get the double. The patty was thin. I think the Hawaiian roll made it sweet. If you like sweet burgers, you may enjoy it more than I did. I also bought the "world famous" Swiss pastry shop Black Forest cake. Evidently I've never had their Black Forest cake because it was horrible. Black forest cake is supposed to be chocolate with cherries. The cake was white with cool whip. But here's the big issue - it was dried out and hard. The guy behind the counter told me it was frozen. This cake was not hard from being frozen. I asked several questions about the type and quality. I'm surprised he didn't offer a refund. Not worth $6.50. Not sure I'll go back again.
