Service- Prompt, Nice staff. Ambiance- this taco truck is in the perfect spot. Nestled between quite a few bars and entertainment spots, I'm sure Chile Pepper Grill catches the attention of everyone passing by. There are two picnic style tables and a few stools on the side. You can park in the garage across the street, street parking or in the small lot that it's in. Food- really love the tacos. Keep telling myself I'm going to try a different menu item the next time I go but even then I'll probably still order a taco or two! I was re-introduced to this taco truck truck and was reminded of how good it is. Today, I brought home 5 tripa tacos on flour and although they were delicious, I wish they were able to honor my request to make the tripa slightly crisper. I don't like soft tripa because it makes me think about what I'm actually eating. There was not even 1 crispy piece in all the tacos I ordered. I was saddened. I think I'm going to make a trip to Arlington and visit my favorite taco spot called Taco Morenos in a gas station. They make my tripa the way I like.. Hands down this is my favorite taco spot in Fort Worth. The best thing is that it is a small business, locally owned. I'm from mexico so I have tried a lot of tacos and i can say chile pepper grill is legit mexico city street type of taco. My favorite tacos are barbacoa, carnitas, and their suadero is amazing. The only one i would not recommend is lengua. Also, their huaraches and their tortas are incredible. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other taco options in the neighborhood. This taco truck has the best tacos I've come across in Dallas/Fort Worth... and dare I say the world! (I mean I've been to (so far) 7 countries and 21 states). These tacos are delicious as hell! With delicious, flavorful meats, a great and friendly staff, and affordable prices, you literally CANNOT beat this truck. No, I'm serious! The meats are the best. They are well seasoned, juicy, delicious, and screaming with flavor. The sauces, unlike most taco places, are amazing! I've even bought a jar to take home to my humble abode. The staff is the bee knees. They are all very friendly, always remember me, always care and asking how I'm doing, and most admirably always handle drunk people who come to the truck late at night after too many drinks, like pros. I've been coming to this truck for at least 5 years now, and I've never been disappointed. I've had literally just about everything on the menu. No. Seriously. I've had everything on this menu. Every single meat, quesadillas, tortas, huaraches, sandwiches, bowls.. you name it, I've eaten it. The street tacos range from $1.50 - $2 depending on what meat you get, deluxe tacos are $3, and anything else off the menu is $7.50. (Fun random fact: These tacos are so good, my mom gives me extra cash about once a month, and asks me to stop by this truck to get her her usual order (2 tripas and 2 chicken tacos) if I'm ever in the vicinity.) Had the pastor tacos and pastor torta. In short, I recommend the torta over the tacos. The tacos were slightly too soft and not as toasted for my like maybe from being in plastic wrap cause it was a to go order. The pastor meat was decent for the taco but I wish there was more of it. As for the Torta, it was pretty good. The bread was slightly crunchy and toasted but not too much, meat was flavorful how pastor should be and they included avocado like most authentic spanish places ( yes I'm talking to you chipotle, smh charging extra for avocado). Great prices, great service, and great corn tortillas and that is where the greatness stops. We tried 8 different street tacos and only 2 were at least above average. Love love love this truck. Go here every time we are on west 7th, and the truck is there. I get the lengua and tripes tacos guaranteed. Their salsa verde and other (hot) sauce are delicious as well. One of my friends ordered the burrito and it was huge. For the vegetarians amongst us, the fact that you can make any option vegetarian by substituting the meat for avocado is a great option also. Good Tacos - Better when Drunk, but overall good flavors and great salsa These are pretty good street tacos coming from a food truck that is parked at the Gold Standard on 7th St. in Fort Worth. They are almost authentic, but they are small tacos and they charge a lot of money for what you get. $1.75 for a simple taco which should cost around $1.25 in the dfw area, or $2.50 for a deluxe taco with a flour tortilla that should cost around $2 anywhere else. That said it is late night food and when you are done drinking a few tacos will be just right. Here the salsa is very good and they serve your typical Mexican Tacos, from Pastor, to Chorizo, to Tripas (intestine), to brisket and Barbacoa... the deluxe tacos are right on with a Choriqueso, alhambre (meat, cheese and peppers), hawaiian, and other specialty tacos. If you are finishing up your night and see this truck I would say go ahead and stop and eat a few tacos! You wont be dissapointed. read more

This is my favorite late night taco stop in this area. Some people swear by Taco Heads close to Velvet Taco but honestly, no matter how drunk I am, those tacos are not worth over $3. Over here they're cheap and so much more delicious as well as they having a much larger menu and get your food out to you quick. If you're a fan of lengua then definitely try the lengua quesadilla. Chile Pepper Grill has street tacos for about $1.50, and they're delicious and quick! I would try to go before all the bars close though because the lines can get really long. This is a food truck, but there are a few picnic tables and some seats at a bar area. Aside from their street tacos, they also have quesadillas, burritos, and bowls. I've only tried the carnitas and the lengua, but I definitely enjoyed them. Be careful with the hot sauce though! They can get pretty hot! These are some of the best street tacos I've ever had. Their competition, Taco Heads, ain't got nothing on them! They offer tacos (corn or flour tortillas), burritos, quesadillas and you can also get bowl for a much lighter healthier side. The best, and my favorite is the chorizo taco, its flavors smell and taste delicious. They are so cheap too, at only $1.25 for one taco and a side of rice for .50 cents these things are a steal. It's located outside of the Durty Crow off West 7th street so it brings in the drunken munchies. I've had these tacos both sober and drunk and they kicked ass both times! You won't regret coming here, but I wouldn't recommend it for children because it does bring in a drunken rowdy crowd. They offer picnic tables with heat lamps next to them, and a small little home built bar area, perfect for late night people watching.
