Mi Rancho is one of my new favorite spots. The free queso in addition to the chips and salsa is an awesome touch I haven't seen before. I've been for dinner a couple of times, and the food has always been delicious, fresh, and well portioned. I really liked the Tacos al Carbon with the steak and chorizo. I spoke to the new owner and am excited for his plans for the restaurant. He is very hands on, and is super quick to make sure everything is perfect. The rest of the staff is great as well, and are very excited and passionate about the direction of Mi Rancho. On my previous visit, the owner told me he was adding breakfast to the menu, so I came back eager to try it. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. Everything was really good, but the chicken fried steak with housemade sausage gravy really excellent. I love a sausage gravy where I can see actual chunks of sausage and that has a nice peppery kick. The batter on the chicken fried steak was crunchy and not super thick and heavy. The inside was nice and clean, with a ton of TVs for live sports. Looking forward to seeing what the crew over at Mi Rancho do next. Definitely a great hidden gem. read more

What looking for some Mexican food? You got all your screen TVs here to watch sports. You have this server named Julio that's super awesome. My fajitas came out super hot and frying take a look at the picture LOL! And it sure tasted delicious!!! The place is super busy. The team has a rhythm here we got our appetizer really quick and our food came out like 10 minutes. What I like about Julio he wasn't one of those servers that visit around for 3 minutes asking if we're okay to many times. He always visit everybody in perfect timing without bothering anybody. A nice upgrade to this space as it used to be a restaurant bar with mid quality food. Mi rancho is a nice change of pace that offered good service and solid meals. We usually get carry out and until today, never dined inside Mi Rancho. Our meals were excellent and the portions were impressive in size. We had breakfast on Sunday. The ribeye steak and eggs with hash browns and toast were delicious, cooked properly as requested, and I did not leave still hungry. My companions enjoyed their dining experiences. Both of their meals included large waffles that helped make it impossible for them to leave without a box to bring home leftovers. We do recommend the food and the dining experience. All the food we've had has been well seasoned and flavorful. The server, Claudia, could teach hospitality if she wanted. She made us feel very welcome and made certain we were happy with everything. The rest of the staff were also very courteous and polite. The employees all seemed upbeat and it appeared to carryover into their interactions with other diners who also appeared to be enjoying their meals. Most places we dine at cost us a lot more than Mi Rancho and they aren't as friendly as the folks at Mi Rancho. Our meals were large and mine was expensive compared to other meals on their menu. Heard that breakfast was now on the menu so we had to try it! First off, they're serving breakfast from 6-2 on Saturday and Sundays so it's a huge window and if you want a cocktail let's call it brunch, and who doesn't love brunch? Today was their first day serving breakfast and it did not disappoint. The breakfast menu has a wide array of options, from traditional breakfast items like omelets, classic breakfast, HOMEMADE Biscuits and sausage gravy to chilaquiles, breakfast tacos, burritos and everything in between. I had the breakfast tacos and hash browns, the hash browns were crispy without being greasy. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak and biscuit. We ordered the sweet and spicy bacon for the table and it was delicious - the bacon was cooked perfectly! Our server was friendly and attentive and it was a laidback calm atmosphere. The service here is friendly and they have good drink specials and tasty chips and salsa. I went here for lunch and had the new Taco al Carbon. My companion ordered the Camarones al Diablo, which I considered and ultimately wish I had ordered. The entrees are served with either refried, black or "cowboy" beans, which are soupy pinto beans. They also give you a scoop of that yummy, sweet corn casserole. It's not my favorite Mexican restaurant, but I go here when I'm in the area and recommend their happy hour. read more

Looking for a local spot to get away to and have a good choice of different Mexican dishes, this is the spot. It's kind of tucked away long the side of the highway but do make your way there. We always sit at the bar and enjoy our talks with the bartenders while getting our favorite dishes. If you haven't tried it, make your way there. They give you espinaca dip the moment you sit down at the table. Need I say more? Plus the food and service in general are so much better than a chain like Jose Peppers. Definitely over priced for what you get. The Pasta Ala Ophelia described on menu as Red peppers, chicken and/or shrimp in chipotle sauce - no mention of green peppers. The dish was primarily green peppers had a couple red pep pieces. Garlic bread was very hard, ok too hard, and chewy. And finished it with an $8 flan. Tiny as serving was, being homemade did not compensate it by any means. It was just alright tasting. Won't get it again. read more

Friendly, fast service. In 7 minutes we have water, coffee, salsa, gauc, and cheese dip. The foods delicious as well. We ordered the el carbron burrito and the chicken roasted pepper enchiladas. Both are delicious. The guacamole is great hut lacked salt for my taste. Very minor thing. The cheese dip is the bomb! And free. So big plus. The manager also stopped to check on us. Great service! Accommodating chef and staff. I went in on a Saturday evening with a party of 7; we got right in and we're well taken care of. The chips and salsa on the table was very good, and the chips were fresh. Everyone at the table kept remarking about how good their food was!! As someone who typically prefers authentic Mexican food, this is exactly what I got!! The chef Jose came out and spoke to us and told us that if anything wasn't to our liking he would make it right. My husband had a shrimp dish that was amazing as well, but he dug in before I could get a picture. We had Jose Cuervo Margarita pitchers for the table and everyone commented on how good they were. I'm a Margarita snob, and I really liked it!! (I don't like the fake sweet and sour tasting margaritas). I will be back soon!
