Service was horrible and bill was wrong and food was not great. We had to ask for stuff several times and asked for salsa and was told it was in the bar and we went up to get some and it was empty read more

Yall do not go to this place. Anytime I have been here there has always been something treacherous brewing within me. And I have gotten a different menu item all of the times as well, so it's not just one thing, it's just the whole place. And the other Mexican places around this area has not done anything like that to my stomach. I just wouldn't recommend it to anybody or eat there myself, maybe someone who's constipated? But everybody's different so. read more

Good food, friendly service. Prices were great for the amount of food. Wife had a carnitas burrito, l had an enchilada and chile relleno combo plate. Very good. Great service. read more

Unimpressed with food taste not bad but not my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Service was okay.

Absolutely garbage food. Took 2 bites of the chicken enchiladas and couldn't go past that, and had to force that 2nd bite down. Chicken so tough, I needed a knife to cut through the enchilada. Must have been some old, tough rooster that's been living out back and was ready to die anyway. They brought the stale chips out, with what seemed to be one step off of ketchup, with chopped onions and cilantro. Honestly, my dog would be disappointed in the quality and unimpressed with lack of authenticity. I would've bet that the "chef" was some drunk college frat boys making this food as a prank to see who could actually eat it. Service was unacceptable, while the waitress had few tables and never came back at all after bringing the food... Only half way decent part of the meal was the Modelo! Just do yourself a favor and don't eat Mexican food in North Carolina! read more

Terrible service Came here after tubing in the area. Worst mistake ever!! My burrito California had tons of lettuce stuffed inside the burrito !! Inside...... warm soggy lettuce! Most disgusting burrito I've ever had in my life! Had to ask the waitress fir drinks, napkins and silverware 3 or more times each! What is going on in this place??? read more

The food is nothing to brag about, terrible service, needs new management. When you complain it falls on deaf ears

While working in Marion on a rainy day, I sought out a good place for lunch. Mi Pueblito is in a good location with plenty of parking. The staff provide outstanding service. The lunch menu offers several combinations that are served hot and fresh. inexpensive and quick lunch that hits the spot. read more

Nice restaurant, great location, friendly service. Salsa and Queso were great. Chips fresh, served hot. Prices great, dishes tasty. A good "find" in the Mexican cuisine. This place is one to visit again read more

Driving across I-40, we wanted something besides the regular fast food chains. Saw this on a food sign and took the exit. It was dark out and I was sure that we were heading somewhere sketchy. Turns out to be a decent place with a friendly staff, fair prices, and quick service. Thank you. As for the food, I wasn't impressed. The chicken tacos looked and tasted like something that you would get from Taco Bell. The chicken really didn't have much flavor though. The enchiladas were ok, similar to what you would find in a frozen food section of a grocery store. It really wasn't bad, and I was happy to have something different, but it just didn't taste like authentic Mexican food that I expected. read more

First, they have lots of vegetarian options - that's good. However, they cook it next to the meat options and I had chicken strips in my food - that's bad. It's not easy to contact these people online - they have a face book page and I left them a comment on this problem. They made the comment disappear instead of addressing it - that's inexcusable. I won't be back. PS. thy don't put prices on the check -- I ate there twice and ordered the same meal both times and was charged two different amounts. What's up with that?? read more

Food is so good here!! Marion has several Mexican restaurants, this is the BEST. The servers are kind and attentive. Beers are reasonably priced as well. We frequent this place and will always. read more

Quick service and good food. Absolutely loved the Carnitas Dinner. Wish I had remembered to take a picture but I ate it so quickly!!

First time at this restaurant. First impression was the place is clean. Pretty tight area at the front entrance and the register. It can get pretty congested quickly. Was seated upon arrival and the waiter took my drink order and brought my drink back immediately. Waiter took my order (burrito with French fries!? That's a first). Food was delicious however small portions in comparison to Las Salsas and around the same price range. The food was delicious and the service was great. However, just can't beat the portions at Las Salsa. Therefore 4 Stars for the small portions. When I order a burrito I shouldn't see any of the plate. read more

THIS IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD!!!! Taco Bell has more flavor than this place. I feel sorry for the people in Marion who think this food is even considered "good". I had their #10 Combo which is 3 beef tacos with beans and rice.... I also ordered a side of guacamole... that wasn't even tasty. It was more like avocado paste. Tasted like they used the seasoning packets that McCormick makes for "homemade guacamole". Excellent guac is chunky... has great flavor and spices. Not this nasty puke green paste in a bowl. A true Mexican would be embarrassed. My hubby had their chili verde.... yeah that was more like watered down green sauce all over the plate. Was supposed to be spicy... nope, not one drop of spice or flavor. They need to revamp their idea of spice use and add flavor to their food. If ever back in this area, we will definitely never come back. read more

Service use to be so good. We waited over 20 mins on our drinks and she only had 2 tables.

This place was great! The service was exceptional. The food was out of this world. You should definitely check them out!!

I had the chipotle chicken. Every chipotle chicken or chipotle beef I've eaten was marinated together. I received the chicken breaded and fried with the chipotle sauce on the side in a bowl - that was not the issue - I know it said fried on the menu when ordering. The sauce was out of a bottle and wasn't even home made! Disgusting. I had to use the picante sauce provided with my chips to add some flavor. That sauce was out of a bottle too! Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

Mexican food in the mountains? Yeah, so turns out this is a question that we should have pondered a bit more. We were seated in a small booth next to a group of really "country" young adults. I spent the first 10 minutes being kicked in the back when the dude behind me moved back and forth from the chips and salsa. It is a bit hard to get comfy and prep for a good meal when you feel like you're getting punched in the back by a dude who talks about trucks a lot. Our waiter took our drink order. We ordered sweet tea. He dropped off the sweet tea, and then, rather than inquire about our order, or provide some straws (in the days of swine flu and other random toxins, straws feel good) he instead opted to visit the "kids" behind us who wanted to know when he planned to buy their truck. This conversation went on for some time, as did the kicks to the back of my booth. A bit hungry, we turned to direct the waiter over, only to find that he'd left the scene. We spotted him over by the bar and then by the cash register. Finally he reappeared. We ordered two simple dishes. We eventually got the much needed straws. The tea was BEYOND sweet. It was a bit like drinking a cup of sugar dissolved in an 8 oz. glass. A few minutes later, I got his attention and requested a half glass of unsweetened tea, which I planned to mix with the sugary tea concoction. He emerged with a full glass of unsweetened tea. Clearly, if you do not talk "country" these guys cannot understand you. I drank half the glass of unsweetened tea and then mixed some of the sweet tea in. Punches to the back continued. The food arrived. The ranchero sauce was like hot sauce. We like spicy food, but we think ranchero sauce should not taste like Tabasco. Our other food was less than memorable. The "salsa" seemed a lot more like marinara than salsa. The moral of this story is that if you're considering Mexican in the mountains, look elsewhere. read more

My co worker and I stopped here and he said it was as if he was home. Nothing is greasy or premade. Every bite was delicious!

Got there 30 minutes before the lunch buffet ended. You could tell that they had NO intention of putting out any fresh food or replenishing the empty trays. And what was on the bar was dried out and crusty. If it weren't for the queso cheese, which I poured over everything, I would have probably choked to death. Very disappointed. read more

Stopped here for dinner while traveling on I-40. It isn't far off the interstate. We were wanting something besides typical fast food. It was a nice experience. There was a good menu, the service was good and the food delicious! It was a great find. Since we travel this road often, I plan to go back. read more

On vacation, we passed by this restaurant on our way to Linville Caverns. It was Cinco de Mayo, so we thought it would be a great idea to have lunch at a Mexican restaurant. We got in there, it was clean and well cared for, everyone was friendly, and we were well taken of. They kept our drinks full, the chips & salsa flowin, and the food was great!!! Dessert was the best, funnel fries with ice cream and chocolate drizzle, yum! The menu had lots of options and great lunch specials--with drinks & dessert, we got out of there for about $10 per person. We will definitely return the next time we're up in the mountains. read more

Best place to eat! I am a regular from now on.

Their service sucks and they need to get better food. Everyone else got their food and I'm sitting here with nothing, just please get it together read more

Margaritas are horrible. Food is sub par. They forget half of what you order. Too bad Jalapeño Fresh Grill was closed.

This place was outstanding. Great food, fast service, and a salsa bar. Save room for the xango to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Although the salsa bar was great, as well as the warm chips and good refeied beans, that's about all I have on a positive end. Not busy yet dinner for two took 45 minutes to come out. Fajitas were okay. Seafood soup was inedible. Waitress could not answer 3/3 questions about the menu. Sangria came served warm without a fruit garnish. Walkways are narrows so feels like people are constantly bumping into one another. Sorry folks. read more

Moved to Marion in 2008, from California, home of the finest Mexican food. I make some pretty outstanding Mexican dishes myself, including the homemade flour tortillas. Blito's, what we call it, is VERY Good. Service is great, and the manager is one of the best I've ever met. My husband, never knows what he's going to order, because it's all very good. read more

This place always has great service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is decent as well.

By far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever ate at! I absolutely adore that the servers remember regulars, even if "regular" is only coming in every three-Fours weeks.I have NEVER had a rude waitress or waiter unlike most restaurants in town. Everything is so fairly priced and delicious. I could go on forever about how great I find this restaurant! read more

I've tried a couple of Mexican places nearby (once) but come back here. I'm easy to please - a single chicken burrito. They make an excellent one. Plus I am a chips and salsa snob. Some Mexican places have rubbery ones or chips with no taste. Not here - they taste good and are always crisp (and hot). The service is always good and attentive. read more

When you call in a order and they say 15-20 minutes and then next thing you know it's 45 minutes later and you finally get your food. Funny part is that it came out and had a bowl of cheese sauce and the guy at the register was quick to say no cheese sauce. I waited patiently and then he has the nerve to not give me the sauce for my outrageous wait time for one simple burrito. Place has really gone down hill. So many Mexican choices in Marion, I'll be sure to take mine there, as well as let everyone know how slow the service is. read more
